This is long and maybe too rambling but is the product of a mind that never shuts up....but like you I want to say that YOU and I are Loved and Loving too.......We haven't met, we never will but Perhaps Mr, Janis and "significant other" and his supporters will allow me these "bits or bytes" for my a final (+/-) unsolicited words of respect for those who discover valuable sites like this. There are so many of US,WE who try not getting lost or buried in the dominating noise and strife that dominates the World, So many subscribe to the Theories that " their deity" empowers them and demands of them the domination of all who do not ascribe to those beliefs. Though the meek (meek can also be defined as weak in in physical, economic, social power) shall! inherit the Earth , increasingly vast numbers will indeed be left to survive on a resource depleted planet ruled by increasingly powerful people who ,for whatever reason, are determined to maintain "order" in whatever way is needed to support their objectives, "every body, decent or not, can't own a $60,000 truck and Million dollar house, dress up in Sunday finest, go to a Megachurch and listen to a multimillionaire "charismatic" declare he or she is the path to "The True God" . And Jose, Akeem and the families in India, Phillipines and Cambodia and Brazil and Mexico and Native Lands still go to the steaming dump to salvage garbage and plastic, or try to eke a living from the desert which they have been "given" by the current conquerors, even as the last usable "resources" are plundered and the poisonous remains are disharged into the remaining water sources.Slaves and exploited are on a dramatic increase. And Countries and communities are invaded and destroyed, women and children slain , mutilated and " ethnically cleansed"BUT!!!!! WE, YOU and I truly are different and as dismal as this "world observation" seems, WE can firmly cling to OUR KNOWLEDGE that WE share the desire and ablility t'o live our best possible life , and without dwelling in self-righteousness, communicate with those who DESIRE to share reasonable productive, empowering , encouraging beliefs. "There are no promises , no guarantees, just choices, responsibilities and opportunities , available in differing qualities , to different people in unfortunately differing degrees." I have been SAVED by Mr Janis kind of music, repeatedly , so much so that I actually recognize my Life as being comprised of Four lives plus the Finale ( in which WE,( Erma and I)are now proactively engaged every day}. And every one of those distinctly different existences (location, activity, consciousness, achievement, failure, satisfaction, dissapointment, completion, transitition) hinged on music and the healing effect it had on myself and eventally on the thousands of people We reached with our very humble efforts in creating, performing and borrowing uplifting songs for people who felt and appreciated our joy and love for every one of them. And WE wish for YOU ALL to know that I read all your thoughts and feel your Hurts and Hopes, Empathy Kindness and Compassion, Fears and Courage, because these are all the THINGS WE live with every minute and must balance....which is Why I have met You! Thankyou, Mahalo!
If you have a "free range" Mind , trust it to come home, because if you let in the principals of "Center,YingYang, (sp?), Balance, Karma, Morality' etc. you can comfortably allow it to operate as time is available. Allow it to make new discoveries every day and evaluate use or dispose of them as needed, Always try to utilize the famous prayer asking for Strength to Change, Patience to Endure, and Wisdom to Know Differences.
My Spirituality. Totally comfortable with Knowing I am not Supreme, but that I am an Incorporated part of the "WHO'' that is. " WE" , {myself and "WHO"} are made of the same stuff (Man in God's image) think how things were stated in a different language a few thousand years ago , and how little wa known of science. So {1) "GOD IS EVERYTHING",atoms and molecules and Energy .The premise of something" EXISTING" is exacty THAT. Far beyond what telescopes etc can see or our tiny minds can conceive. So yes! "God is truly Everything", and everything operates under the same scientific principals, has forever and forever shall. So (2)"EVERYTHING" is part of God.Mankind is in charge of it's own demise because for whatever reason among all the billions of organisms ever to exist on this planet WE are the only ones that were capable of self-determination" to consciously do whatever we wanted for the benefit or demise of our species. WE will not destroy the earth. WE cannot destroy the Earth. And...We cannot sustain Human Quality of Life as those who control it, define it, or desire it since there is no scientific possibility of necessary balances being maintained. There will never be a functional human presence beyond Earth because there is no prospect of long term (a million years?} functional presence On Earth under any reasonable scenario. So back to the US who just want the "best possible" for our families and peace of mind of making our best compassionate choices. A huge majority of people throughout the World can only hope at best to provide opportunity for the next generation to HAVE choices and opportunity.
It is hard , for me anyhow, to remain positive about outlook , BUT Love and Friendship of thinking , feeling , sharing people we have met in or 70 plus years, and continue to meet helps with realizing that because we had or found, and then maintained a perspective that there are forces in our life that allow us to do the best we can with what we have for those who appreciate it and understand , we can feel satisfaction and fulfillment.
Once again if you, we, create, perform, appreciate , and incorporate into our most intimate being, the soul lifting beauty of the sound of words and melodies presented from the heart and encourage others to share the experience , maybe that is one of the most meaningful things we can pass on. We are Blessed with the Kind Hearts, Good Minds, Doctors, Cultural Practitioners< Musicians, Spiritual Advisors , Family (Blood and Adopted)who have made our lives fulfilling. And all of YOU! Naki'i

I really love this beautiful Soulful music. It brings back memories both happy and sad. The memory that i savour is of my late mother, the way she was always happy, and smiling.
