drawing hands is easy, just draw oven mits then simplify the fingers into their basic shapes. no further detail required as long as you get the shapes right it will look good

when i trace i use things that are not art i usually draw food i just take a pic of o food item then trace that.

There are some useful tips but most of them are just “if you got a problem, then fix it” like that ain’t a tip and not to mention that some are ridiculously stupid like hiding eyes and hands, like how tf is anyone going to learn hands and eyes if they don’t ever draw them, and some art styles don’t even require these “tips”

That sound is absolutely horrible, you should avoid having the ding sound so loud and ear piercing 😂

i know im late but my art improved so much with tracing art, my tablet broke so i draw on paper now and i can actually draw thanks to muscle memory.
so tracing can help
edit: also chicken scratch is my artstyle :( i love how it looks

What all types of drawing tablets have you used? I’m trying to find the right drawing tablet that’s around $150 maybe a little. I can’t afford an iPad

I'd say tracing other people's art to break down shapes is fine, but keeping it and saying it's yours is the bad part.

I have another tip: great art doesn't need to be complex: few lines can do the work well (just look at any piece of animation, they usually have few lines but they seem more complex)
