Boudoir with Minolta SRT 202 Film Camera from 1975

Hello Yuliya, i could still remember 45 Years ago when i startet with photography with on Olympus OM Camera, all manual. It was wonderful and very creative because all about the picture was the inspiration and the work of the photographer.

Minolta still makes lens just the glass. I know they made the lens for JVC camcorders. Also I heard the Panasonic 35-100mm f2.8 used Minolta glass and that was a Micro Four Thirds lens.

I did some reading on Minolta and back in the 1980's they started making their cameras cheaper because they wanted to get them into more stores. The downside was pros did not want them but people getting into photography I think enjoyed the more affordable cameras they made over the other brands. I remember J.C.Penny was one of the stores they wanted to get into and I think maybe the other one was SEARS.

I have some of the 1980's Minolta cameras they are still good and as long as you don't drop them they are still fine cameras.

Well, I have to say it, because nobody hasn't said it yet. It's not a boudoir photo shoot.

Next film shoot, try shooting with ISO 400 or 800 you will get sharper photos when you can stop down to 5.6

Just wondering why you didn't use the light meter in incident mode? Personally, I find it much quicker and easier than spot metering (reflective mode).

In the 1970s Bob something, bad with names. Created "Soft Focus" because he couldn't seen when he was photographing in CBGB. I don't think it's you.

Love the pictures, but watching him load the film was painful :-) Hi did'nt mention the cameras stop-down button. Did you try it? Minolta was one of the few camera companies that made their own optical glass and lenses. I think their 85mm Varisoft Rokkor would have been great for this shoot. Or maybe the 135mm f.2.
I still have my old SRT 100x and som later Minolta models - and lots of lenses. You made me want to use them again. Thanks.

Very beautiful model. When such a model is used, the photographs will be perfect even on a camera from the early 20th century. And as always - great job by the photographer.
