Best of luck with Her Carl
two new lathes in one year lucky guy
All the best my friend Robbie
looks great in that shop, For that little of a lathe you should do pens on it. have fun with your new toy
ОтветитьOh Carl! It is beautiful!. Envy, Envy, Envy!
ОтветитьCarl, I'm jealous of your new toy! Have fun with it and make some things soon.
ОтветитьCarl, that really is a BEAUTY!! You might want to go out and rent a jackhammer; that might be the only thing that will get that grin off your face! Do I sound envious enough?
Enjoy,
.....Gord
Carl Jacobson That's an awesome lathe. Looking forward to seeing some great projects coming off that fine machine.
ОтветитьNeat lathe, this beauty is on my bucket list, do you still have the delta 46-460
ОтветитьGreat Lathe! I am fortunate to own an American Beauty as well. My real job is digital marketing and I was fortunate enough to earn Brent's business and update the website which allowed me to purchase the best lathe ever. i watch your videos all the time, but now it will be even better.
ОтветитьThat thing is badass. Very nice.
ОтветитьLooks great, best of luck, play safe and have fun
ОтветитьShe sure is a beauty!
ОтветитьWOW Carl! That truly is a Beauty. There are so many cool features!
ОтветитьWow what a Lathe!! You really have to out do your self now. Good turning and be safe.
ОтветитьHi Carl, I am soooo happy for you. My AB has been on order now for about 2 weeks and due here in Rochester, NY the first part of October. I am looking forward to your future projects and your AB. What a joy that will be for you as this machine has many great features that will make it more of an extension of your turning abilities than being a machine you use to create an end product. Did you get the 2 or 3HP version?
Well as Brent says in his video... "What I have more for in making an American Beauty for you, is turning on one myself!" That's what I am looking forward to
Keep on turning, (as another Robust user says),
Bob Kolock
Rochester, NY
Super! Far as I know no Robust in Finland :(
ОтветитьSweet!
ОтветитьLooks like a sweet piece of machinery!
ОтветитьCongratualtions Carl. That thing is truely a beauty. I would love to try one out some day.
ОтветитьWow, a real beauty indeed, and it certainly looks incredibly robust.
ОтветитьUh oh, Carl's wife is going to have to stage an intervention to get her husband out of the shop.
ОтветитьGorgeous Lathe Carl. I have been eyeing the Sweet Sixteen as I like the drop down removable bed area. Thanks for sharing your input on the Robust lathes. I am saving for mine.
ОтветитьWow! Great looking machine! Have fun!
ОтветитьOk...... What did I miss??? You JUST got a brand new Powermatic! Now this? How lucky can one guy be? Where's the other one? That's one hell of a nice lathe.
ОтветитьCongratulations on your new lathe. Robust--
There is no substitute.
Paul Charbonneau-A proud Robust owner!!
Wow! Looks like an awesome lathe. The swing away tail stock, stainless bed, and magnetic controls are really cool.
One thing I didn't like to see was the emergency button is out of the way. I guess if you are lying on the floor it's easy to reach, but that doesn't appear to be an easy to reach button if you have an emergency while standing up.
Overall a great looking lathe! congrats!
Excellent...!! Congratulations on the new lathe, I look forward to seeing it in action...
Cheers...
Wow, that's a hunk of machine right there!! I love all the great features, thanks for doing an overview for us. One day, I hope to have one of those puppies sitting in my shop too!
Ответитьwhy not the sweet sixteen
ОтветитьWelcome to the club. I need to get up there for a play date to see how it compares to my older (6 years or so?) 3 speed Beauty.
ОтветитьHi Carl, Now that you are an official distributor for robust, how do I go about ordering some robust tool rests from you? Thanks, Bob
ОтветитьWow some serious money spent there.
Ответитьwere i can buy one of this machine
rodrigo
thanks
I really like my 1642 but after doing a ton of research this is definitely my next lathe. Crazy attention to detail and built incredibly well. Have to wait a while longer but can’t wait!
ОтветитьGreat quick review. You should give price
Ответить7 year mechanical warranty. Only 1 year on the electrical.
ОтветитьWhat is a pattern turning lathe
Ответить
ОтветитьEnjoyed the video keep up the good work be blessed
Ответитьhello Carl, please tell me why you switched from powermatic 4224 to robust, thank you.
ОтветитьThanks for sharing...!
Ответить6 years ago already... Still under warranty! Haha
Any issues over the 6 years?
🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
ОтветитьThis looks like a great lathe. I have a Powermatic I can't use now because I don't have 220V nor the space. How does this lathe compare the Oneway from Canada? The Stainless steel bed would be great for turning green wood like you mention.
ОтветитьThat really is a beautiful machine but it's $10k.
Ответитьjust letting you know that your warranty is up LOL
Ответитьmagnets dont stick to stainless steel
ОтветитьI’ve been looking at the sweet 16. But, they are almost 10k now. Way out of my budget. 😢
ОтветитьNice lathe. I just bought a used one. 2019 model. I have a bad motor bearing. I contacted Brent but found out the warranty was only 2 yrs on the motor. So the 7yr warranty is only for certain items. Oh well. Time to tare this thing apart and try to get it fixed.
