As someone who was made to take medication I didn't want and had bad side effects as a child, even if the tanning pills Sora was made to take didn't cause any neurological damage, it was likely still a very traumatic experience that impacted him in the future. Feeling unable to trust a parental figure is a terrible thing.

jfc i remember when she used to follow me on LJ and we'd talk sometimes on AIM. i mostly ignored her antics since they were generally harmless but it all eventually came to a screeching halt when her mother bought her that DNA test. she absolutely refused to accept that she wasn't japanese and would constantly message me for validation and that i'd be able to "tell" since i'm (part) japanese. it was crazy. i DEFINITELY hated the constant abuse she gave her family though.
