SUCH GREAT ADVICE!

Great tips! Preparing for my first shoot and want to do a great job. This helps!

1. Keep things simple, you really don’t need much (gear and lenses) write down a cheat sheet about lightning that works the best for you and don’t hesitate to use them. 2.nail down your lights. If you are confident your clients feel it and they become confident too. 3. Work on your scale, they are not professional models, help your clients with posing. For most of them it’s first time to do photo session. Give them guidelines.
4. Create an efficient process, detailed to-do list. Pregnant women don’t last very long on a photo session- they get tired.
5. Find your own style. Those who don’t risk, do not drink champagne.

My absolute favorite Maternity photographer! Always get inspiration from her, and had no idea she is Russian too. I do a lot of maternity portraits and following Lola's work helps me stay creative. Love how she plans out a shoot, I do the same and it helps a lot
