Very comprehensive review Frank! One area to check is GoVerify and possibly TrustTag. I understand GoVerify has been replaced with something better but not sure of the details. Also SeeQ is an interesting search engine for blockchains. Been in QNT since pre-ICO via a pool and continued to add on dips. Now my #1 holding and never sold a share (although I did give some to wife, daughter and grandson).

I understand lack of a US exchange is due to QNT being considered a security, which could mean it's banned from US (adoption and coin ownership). Have you heard anything on this?

I couldn't find a decent mobile wallet except ERC20. Imagine what it claims but rely on ERC blockchain? Questionable.

Hi, Thanks for the taking the time to do a review. A couple of corrections just to avoid confusion

1. point about the token not being mentioned in the whitepaper and have to take the word of the community / ama's for it.
There is a separate Token Utility Paper. If you type Quant Tokenomics paper in google will be the first entry (also link included in pinned message)

2. Seemed to be some confusion around it being centralised because part of it is closed source (SDK and connectors are open source). Having part of the code being proprietary doesn't mean its centralised. There is no single instance of Overledger run by the team that everyone connects to. It is baked into the gateways as a layer (as detailed in the Overledger Network paper linked below) and Enterprises and community members run their own gateways (which has the OS included). This was also answered in the What is a Blockchain OS article linked below. The Quant Team control the code that gets added to Overledger but this is the same for any open source project. Anyone can't just commit changes to the codebase without them being approved by the Core dev team first, there is always a degree of centralisation with any project.

3. Being Open source doesn't mean it’s more secure, yes people are able to check the code but that also means attackers have full access to the code to exploit vulnerabilities as well. Bitcoin has very limited functionality, there have been countless attacks against Ethereum - Numerous Parity exploits, DAO, seems there is a DeFi hack every other week. The team have extensive security experience (as detailed in previous reply below) and naturally when used by banks, very regulated environments like SIA's private network then security is paramount.

4. It's fast due to the method it achieves interoperability compared to other interoperability solutions which add a blockchain in the middle which adds a lot of overhead / imposes restrictions (detailed in reply below and in What is Blockchain OS article)

5. Other team members such as Luke riley, Martin Hargreaves and additions of Guy Dietrich to the board of Quant (in reply below)

6. Not sure why the private message from the fudder was included saying that all staff resigned after SIA announcement - That is not true

7. GoVerify is no longer a product, Interchange and Seeq mentioned in reply below / Overledger Network article below

My main in portfolio and still keep buying.

Qnt does not need to be purchased but G.Verd has also confirm that it will always be more cheap to pay in qnt than in fiat, that means the demand for qnt will also be from this area and contributing to the tokenomics.
Quant will be used for so much more than just the companies listed, just take the example of hospitals and medical care, which is a huge area. Covid someone?!
Quant will be used in transport, logistic, security, and so much more. Other projects try to solve problems, Quant is creating standards, see the differences?! Quant will only be stronger in time and the qnt token aswell.
There is much more information to be read on different forums, I suggest you go there, much unofficial data there, server information etc.
