I find the bass of the s12 more than enough and i go looking for bass....

Bose 901 is a direct reflectinf speakers were avalaible in the 80-90's generation, I have a pair with a brown color, connected to my Mcintosh....so according to you Letshuoer is a allreounder or a midcentric sq?

Bose 901s seemed to be on everyone’s wish list when I was a young man enjoying 60’s and 70’s rock bands and music. After spending all my money on a top of the line Pioneer system with everything but the kitchen sink included in 1980 I had to settle for the Bose 501s. I could still blow the dust off our barrack’s ceiling, but always wished I had saved up just a little more bar hopping money for the 901s. Thanks for the Bose 901 reference, made me smile as I remembered those times…

Great review, thank you. I think it's 89, not 109. I find that a tight fit is important to get the bass rumbling. More subbass than midbass, but that makes more room for those beautiful mids. DZ4 gives me a feeling of putting my head into a bubble of sound. ToneDeafMonk called it "musical crack" in his review. :D Female vocalists sound wonderful on this iem. Try Ellie Goulding - "How long will I love you", Dido - "No freedom", or The Japanese House - "Spot Dog".
