Robbed us of a true socialist party and government that would have redressed the inequality and given real power back to the people. And the ultimate crushing of the status quo

The monstering of Jeremy Corbyn by the right wing press, and the Guardian, on false accusations of antisemitism before the 2019 general election, was enough to scupper the hopes of progressive politics in the UK. Corbyn was no antisemite, he physically stood against fascist demonstrations in Jewish communities in the 70's. However, he wanted nationalisation of essential services and campaigned for the rights of Palestinians as well. We have paid the price with rip off rail increases, sewage filled rivers, undermining of the NHS and failure to act proportionally to the climate and biodiversity crises. Palestinians continue to pay a higher price under brutal military occupation.

Use to be involved with the militant tendency, I lifetime ago,,yet this is the kind of exposure within the labor movement we would have championed 👍👍👍👍
