This actually gave me the idea of roleplaying that my character is allergic to stimpaks. All other healing is okay, but specifically stimpaks are off-limits. Or even a Joshua Graham run where you use absolutely no chems (he's immune to modern medicine).

I understand not wanting to fail the run but if you accidentally drink from the canteen before you leave the house how is it a failure? If you already have full health you wouldn't be healing yourself.

Saw the NCR Hit Squad head into the dry lake after threatening me, and get soloed by a giant fire ant...

Can you beat fallout new Vegas while only being able to wear the stealth suit body armor mk 2 (can still wear stuff on head and face) auto injects stimpacks and medx. Optimizing the armor by doing the stealth training buffs it further i believe. Gained by doing the Old World Blues dlc, although you can't leave till you beat it

I love your playthroughs but there are SO MANY CAPS in new Vegas that dont require Luck, or combat to obtain near the start of the run. You've used a Stealth Boy to cross from Goodsprings to the Repconn facility next to the 188 Trading Post betore. All of these spots have high-val loot that can be obtained as early as level 2 or 3 without combat and are a hop, skip, and jump away from the Gun Runners.

-Selling off Courier's stash weapons and armor.
-Chance's Knife
-Practically everything in the start of the Lonesome Road DLC up to the 2nd Sentrybot
-Shoot 4 dynamite next to a Great Khan with a trail carbine on their person between R.R.Canyon and R.R. Drug lab, use 5 free Weapon Repair Kits from Goodsprings to value it up.
-Q-38 Matter Modulator can be obtained without any lock picking or combat easily if you are quick enough and know the route, no 7 Luck required.
-200 pre-war money in the briefcase on the ground right next to the dead Brotherhood Soldiers in the same building as Matter Modifier.
-The Power Armor and Laser rifles from aforementioned Brotherhood Soldiers. (Use the Laser Rifle from Nipton to repair it too)
-Durable Dunn's Sacked Caravan has SO many caps, chems, and even Combat Armor that can be sold, right next to Gun Runners.
-Obtain the 10mm SubMg in Boulder City, talk to the Khans inside the building. Ignore them and drag the Turbo that is inside around the corner with Mcmurphy's body to get it for free, without needing to finish the quest right then and there.
- Use it to survive the Boomers Bombardment without taking damage. (* If you beeline to the closest section of fence and eat the Turbo after the VERY FIRST shell lands, you'll take no damage.*)
-Enjoy the 4-7 free Combat Armors inside the Hangars.
-Save 1 of 3 possible free Stealth Boys from Goodsprings to get all the Missile Launchers from their Munitions Depot, too.


Even with Barter sub 10, that's all probably 10-30k Caps. There are SO many locations I've missed. You could obtain your Anti-Mat Rifle several times over and begin the run with ALL of your health.

This is a good one actually kinda better than something like one hp cause you know what'll happen but fallout NV technically is a fail cause doc Mitchell lets you sleep in his bed at the beginning only being a smart Alec 😂 keep up the good work though

silent long range weapons are overpowered in life, so games just replicate this

Was gonna be surprised you didn't notice that there is Overworld healing, but then you said you finished it in 4 hours so you probably healed 2hp at most lol
