Brilliant doco ! I'm originally from the UK and went to school in London in the 60's ... okay, it was a bit posh, but I was a rebel lol, and hung out with a few early skins in Eltham. Great fun ! I've always loved Jamaican culture although all I knew back then was Desmokd Dekker and Millie Small. I actually moved to the Pacific in 1965 for 3 years and lived on Niue Island where Dad was a missionary. Then back to London 68-73. Great time to be a teenager in Britain ! Slade, T Rex, Bowie, and of course Led Zep, Pink Floyd etc all starting up. When the far right influence started creeping in, it really stuffed the scene in some ways for a while, until people sorted out who they were. When racist skinheads killed an Asian hitchhiker here on the West Coast there were articles about racist skins, so I sent one into the local rag setting the record straight. Nice pic of me and my lady at the time and very good representation of what I sent in. Well done. That was great !

Only to be replaced by the casual culture of the 1980s.
