Those kids have so many toys and a pool, not to mention that they all got to stay together. And got two loving dads, who take good care of them.

The few people that are hating on this because of the gender of the parents:

It doesn't matter what the gender of a child's parents are, it matters what they teach them and how they parent. You can have a woman and a man raise children and they could end up being horrible parents, or they could be great; it's the same with parents of the same gender or with no gender identity at all. It's all about who the parents are as parents and people, not which gender they identify with; that's what truly matters in a child's upbringing.

What beautiful children and siblings too. Best wishes to you two gentlemen and the parenting task you have undertaken. I have 3 children of my own but I have hosted exchange students through the years and some leave such an impression on you that you dont want to send them back home but they have loving parents who entrusted them into your care. As one father who contacted me said of his daughter, "For the next 5 months she is your daughter". I found his statement a huge compliment in the fact he was giving temporary custody of his own daughter to someone he had never met. All I am saying is it is easy to love someone else's children

I don’t know if anyone can help me, but my husband and I spent a year going through the foster to adopt program with DCF to be bullied, lied and and forced to quit right before being approved (told we could be approved and never placed or resigned as they had no way of denying us). I have high functioning Asperger’s and believe that was part of the reason, though a doctor approved me and recommended me (I work and do everything everyone else does). Any insight is appreciated. Our second bedroom sits empty.
