I find it encouraging that the judge thanked the jury with complete sincerity and understanding. I have done Jury service twice in the UK and neither judge thanked us, the Jury, for serving (both cases were distressing) despite one case continually being interrupted adding 3 weeks to proceedings. Claims for expenses were minimum confusing and akward to access.

So she could be out in about 20 odd years? Should have had life without parole.

Seeing the killer feeling sorry for herself just annoyed me. She's a monster.

This judge was terrific in her instructions to the people as some people clap at verdicts seeing the criminal going to jail, forgetting they have family too.

I was charged in Marin Criminal Court.with a criminal law violation before a jury. I represented myself. After the trial, the head Juror stated the respected me and pled for leniency. No juror ever stated in court that I was guilty. There was never a sentence imposed by the court. No sentence was ever stated. But the Court and other Judicial persons claimed that I was convicted of a felony,
A conviction in California requires a finding of guilt and a sentence. My children were denied a father for almost 20 years.
