Wow!!! I love this song. It put a smile on my face. I'm never going to stop listening to it. I'm keeping it close to my heart ❤

Today I once again fell into the sin I most struggle with. Afterwards I was so ashamed of my own actions and cried out to God.
A little later I had to leave for work and it was pouring rain. I got in my car and was driving when this song came on. My attention was immediately caught with the lyrics, but as soon as he said "hear my voice whisper through the rain" I broke down in tears. I felt peace wash over me even though I felt utterly unworthy of such love from God. That he would cause it to rain at that moment with this song so I would know he has not abandoned me. It made me repent and surrender what I'd been holding onto in my heart.
Scripture is correct when it says the kindness of God leads us to repentance.
Praise and glory to God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ for all time and eternity. Amen!

I really like this song. It's so truthful and encouraging. God wrote our story for our greater good so we could shine. God knows what is inside our hearts but we keep asking him to take it away. It's like a toddler learning how to walk is going to fall down but get up to do it again, pick up own body off the ground. This is the process of learning how to walk. Imagine if the parent picked up the child everytime it fell. The child would never know how fabulous it feels to walk on own.
