Wonder why there aren't Mclarens at these events. Sure they're RWD, but so are the Vipers. Would think rigidity and lightness of the carbon tub would help. Their traction control on factory ECU is among best in the business. I'd think if a shop would specialize in building billet blocks / cranks etc. and developing the M840 engine and trans and tuning that you could make the 720/750/765 platform competitive, no? Especially now that you can get a 720S for low mid 200k to use as a base. M840 is already making close to 1000hp in stock form in the Senna.
