Minimum wage workers are some of the hardest workers there are. I used to work minimum wage & I currently work a white-collar job. They couldn't pay me what I make to go back to that BS.

This statement no doubt contains extreme truth. The balance of perception being a multitude who will diligently work a minimum wage job, not in assurance of their own wealth but rather in support of unsustainable profit margins of which is the true foundation of most great material wealth. People do not hire people that are not needed. In this realization exists what might be termed balanced dependency.

I shared this video with my students - "the next level" and explain that they are in control of their destiny in this class, but they may need to become someone else. This intersects very well with "growth mindset", and stepping up to a challenge (with support of course). They are ultimately in charge of their next level.

I disagree ...it is not genetics...it is a mindset developed to survive brokenness, hardship, racism, classisim and disadvantage ... but that can be unlearned and a skiiiset instead developed to focus on self love, accomplishments, and maneuvering around challenges and roadblocks.

What I learn from my dad is work even after hours or days off that how he afford his dream car 5 years ago now he still driving that car till this day.
