I didn't get into it 100% but I remember how mysterious it was when I used the flash light on my rifle to erase one of the messages.
I knew then that there was something much deeper hidden in ground zeros.

I played the MGS2 demo so much… i found the FAMAS and C4….. then I planted so much C4 I would tank the FPS to a slide show… and have endless shootouts with the guards 🤣

Ground zeroes was part of venoms reprogramming and were seeing things from venoms broken perspective. That’s why David hayter isn’t voicing the boss :)

I wanna give a big thanks to the uragan 5 in ground zeroes, would not have had the same experience without that godly revolver shotgun hybrid.

The end of ground zeros was heartbreaking

I've played ground zeros more the the phantom pain, even when I was waiting for the main game. Ground zeros like mgs2 is anther game that sticks with me. In many ways, even as this video domonstrates narrative and the sandbox of people moving around in real time. Either if your there or not. That something is going on without you knowing. And I rarely see storys play that way. Their usually straight line moving forward, narrative wise and everything is like no country for old men, when you put it this way, it breaks the no country for old men random and adds that there is more going on then just the "protagonist" aware. And showing that ground zeros and mgs2, that formation flys around. The present time when your doing am important task could also be that something else is taking place at that same time, without you knowing. GTAV doesn't have this, trevor.... being somewhere naked in a forest lol but your also getting the radom effect. I mean in real time how did he get there? This game is very essential, idk.... that phantom has this activity, if kojima was planning on adding into the game of things that are going on in Africa and Afghanistan. Who knows really, that we may of gotten a a bigger expiernce of what happens with information that comes and gose in a blink of an eye like a particle decaying. Or an instance if the "splash" that is the higgs field of what makes mass of particles lol (Tedtalk video of higgs.) (Metaphorically) I mean people are not like particles but infomercial only comes once and only once and gone that maybe interpreted as something else being forgotten. It is interesting of a game that was short but had so much I didn't realise, I don't think films have this demonstration.

The helicopter in ground zero was better than phantom pain is it just me

Got 100% in Phantom Pain and now seriously enjoying Ground Zeros I'd only explored a few hours of prior lol. Certainly doesn't hold your hand but Phantom Pain provided tons of practice.

Ground zero taught me, I am VERY very bad at stealth games.

You forgot to use Peace Walker in your argumentation. Lots of people don't understand The Phantom Pain and Ground Zeroes because they didn't play Peace Walker

Ground Zeroes replayability aspects are due to being lucid dreams guided by Ocelot.

I would literally pay more than full price for a remake of metal gear solid and Sons of Liberty I didn't really care too much for Snake Eater or sons of the Patriot or whatever mgs4 was called when I first bought ground zeros I bought it blind not knowing what it was like I do every game series I enjoy wanting to go in spoiler free and beating it within 2 hours I was like what the hell even with the replay value I was a little disappointed then mgs5 phantom pain I actually just re-downloaded it and I'm on Mission 16 traitors Caravan and this is my third time downloading this game and the only complaint I have is it offers a little too much freedom and that's a personal issue for me it's not really an overall complaint the issue I have with games that have so much customizability and open world aspects is there's just so many weapons and items and tactics I'll end up making five different loadouts then I'll go try all of them out and I just get caught up with Statistics and Maneuvers and stuff like that instead of the story I'd really like to see you one more metal gear game with a linear storyline

I have insisted from day one that GZ is more than a "glorified demo" and this essay sums up my thoughts so much better than I could.

If you think about it, this is the last we see of Big Boss before he betrays us as well. We aren't his family anymore. We are not his soldiers, we are not his diamond dogs. We were just a means to an end and we were none the wiser.

How can I get the cassette tape from the garbage in time? Do I literally just need to not save Chico and go try to find it? I don't know where the garbage with the cassette tape on it is. I haven't the slightest clue. I eliminated all of the enemies on the map to try to make some of these collectables that elude me easier to find.

Is it me , or does it seem like big boss , is always listening to miller go on a rant of some kind or always scheming some kind of bullshit plan , that big boss has to go on and do all the work , while miller sits at the base all safe and comfortable ! throughout their time spent together , it seems to always go this way , with miller telling snake what he has to do , ultimately always to achieve millers ultimate goal , lol it seems boss has fought so hard ti be no countries pawn , but always ends up being millers pawn and tool in accomplishing his goals and not big boss ( naked snake ) 💯

Yea I’ve always spent countless hours , trying to get extra bits of story details , whether it be in codec calls , or even collecting the tapes , I’ve always wanted to know all the minuscule details that one would miss , unless hunting for them . However to me it always heightened the overall experience ! 💯

imaging what if Kojima still in Konami and make a new MGS Coop Game where you and your friend play at normal Solder in Mother Base you will be send out to do mission like Sabotage enemy Light,Vet.... Factory and then after you complete some Challenge there a Secret mission where you comeback and find out BigBoss(Venom) was Kill and your mission was to Rush in retrieve BigBoss Body and get out before the MB Explosion.After get back to a Helicopter with BB Body your character pickup the Radio and Start to say "Do you hear me ? .... Solid Snake" then the game End

Yea I use to always constantly use the codec over and over again in game , just to hear new dialogue in the games as I wanted to hear everything and see all the little Easter eggs , I would drag out my game time so much longer then most players , lol
