Did you get a permit to film within the National Park? Last I looked it was illegal to film and then monetize. Is that no longer the case?

A little dog? Yes!!! We had to upgrade our RV just to accommodate 3 dogs and now we have a new cat.... 2 is a piece of cake. I wish you luck Trish!

One thing I take from you RV'ers is that you get a chance to show us your viewers all the diversity in the different landscapes available in our great nation. As much as I enjoy the east coast vibe and our NC mountains there is a lot to offer out west. I have been as far as Buena Vista CO but that was over 50 years ago.

Wow! Wow! (as you look at the big trees). My kids would grimace at us as we say that (we do say that when we're out camping in a beautiful place). Enjoy the new Airstream. Have fun and travel safe.

Just an FYI for your viewers, it is handicap accessible from the lower parking lot. You were in the upper parking lot and had to walk down the hill. The bus drop off and handicap parking is in the lower parking lot. Close to General Sherman.

There’s and amazing place inside Kings Canyon/Sequoia. It’s called Montecito Sequoia Lodge. It is a family summer camp June-August, but it’s a camp-like inclusive resort in the off season. There are a variety of levels of accommodations from rustic cabins, to hotel type rooms, to luxury cabins. Your lodging fees include 3 meals a day in the dining hall. There are no tv’s in the rooms and minimal wifi. There’s lots of activities right on the property, some self guided, some more structured. We’ve been there twice. First time there was over 15 feet of snow!! We Cross country skied and snowshoed the trails. The second time was in the fall and we enjoyed crisp autumn weather and explored the area via hiking. Our kids are grown (nearly) and they still ask to go back there for a family vacation. It really is amazing! So glad you take the time to explore the roads less traveled! Your family has been inspiration to us! Thank you!

Hello Mark and Trish. We have been watching your channel for years, great video and editing. When you went down hwy 198, you were 1/2 mile from us in Hanford yes that was fog, but 60 mph fog if you are from here. Sorry I’m a man of few thoughts and many words. When Dawn and I were dating, we went to the park, of course e we wound up at General Sherman. As it happened a tour buss showed up with Asian tourists. I had a nice family approach me and ask to take a pic of them. This was in mid 80z, he handed me a Huge Nikon with a 12 mile lense. I took a few shots, not good enough he said nicely. Move back he asked, I did took a few more. Back More please he said, ok I moved back. Not enough, he said way back. Ok I said, I moved back, no,no,no,no BACK MORE. Get tree, I said I am, NO WHOLE TREE, WHOLE TREE PLEASE. I took two more steps back then started shooting upwards then handed his camera back. No way to film whole tree, fun memory. Thanks for sharing yours, Greg Phillips

When I was 19 years old in 1979, I worked in King’s Canyon & lSequoia National Parks for a few months on a trail crew, building trails and then transferred to a trail crew in Yosemite when earthquakes hit Mammoth Lakes and huge rocks came down and land slides came down and huge rocks fell and damaged cabins in the valley. So I was lucky enough to get to work in that area for real! We would go hiking in our spare time! God’s beautiful creation!!! Brings back amazing memories!!! I hope our paths get to cross soon with you guys in real life someday!!!

Thank you for this video! We are lucky enough to have Kings Canyon, Sequoia, and Yosemite as our home parks and visit each on a regular basis. I can attest to the unlevel campsites at Azalea. When we had our tent trailer I stupidly unhooked before chocking and it rolled backwards into a tree (with me hanging on trying to stop it to no avail). We still laugh about that 15 years and two trailers later.
I hope you get the chance to come back when you can drive (or ride .... it's an epic descent on a bike) down into Kings Canyon itself. The Kings River runs next to the highway and is beautiful, and the campgrounds in the canyon are great.

Your videos are always uplifting and such a pleasure to watch. Your friendly, kind personalities, and the way you share tell your stories are all so cheerfully and wonderfully done. It’s like we are right there along with you, and your music choices are really outstanding. I always find new artists to listen to after watching and listening to your videos. You make the world a better place with all the aspects of life that you share with us, travels, relationships, the day-to-day grind sometimes, and all the people you meet along the way. It’s really a unique insight that y’all bring to the table. Happy new year and congrats on your accomplishments. Well deserved!

Had we not listened to others in the camping community we would have missed this spectacular drive as well as Sedona!! Thanks for sharing!!
