I've been following bodybuilding for a very long time, I just don't understand how Dorian Yates did as well as he did against all of his great opponents. I can't help but think that he had some sort of push or help that we don't know about. I think a lot of certain bodybuilders get some sort of push or extra exposure. I think it makes all the difference. I thought Jay Cutler should have pin number one over Ronnie Coleman way before he actually did. Nobody wants to see a 300 lb bodybuilder with a gut. People want to see aesthetically pleasing magnificent bodies. I'm no expert that's for sure, but that's just my take on it.... And one more thing, when you see a man in his mid-40s but is totally aesthetically perfect or near perfect, how can someone not recognize that. Meaning the judges. The man must be gifted from God or something else very special. All of these guys are very blessed and very gifted. Drops to all of them 👌
