ОтветитьNice hay. If we don’t get rain here in NE Iowa the farmers here won’t get much a second crop.
ОтветитьAwesome video Mike as always. Great looking hay too. Keep them videos coming 👍
ОтветитьThanks for the video how many acres did he cut keep up the great work you do on the farm
ОтветитьGreat awesome video mike, love that discbine , nice crop , make great quality haylage , hope chuck gets well , hearts and prayers
ОтветитьThat is great looking alfalfa. Just curious....how many wagon loads will it take to fill a silo? Thanks Mike
ОтветитьGreat looking alfalfa Mike. Nice and thick, should make some real nice haylage. Cows will love it I'm sure. Hay making is slow here, not enough sun. It is what it is and we will.get it I'm sure. Get that silo full, be careful doing it and I'll see you in the next one
Ответитьgreat video mike
ОтветитьGet well soon Chuck and yup when a 92 year old guy emails you his number and wants to talk you give him a call and just listening to the stories he told me and how much he enjoys watching the videos that makes it worthwhile 👍🏻😁
ОтветитьGood looking alfalfa there. Should be some decent tonnage. That field about 20 acres?
ОтветитьI love how they turn on a dime we had an old New Holland sickle bar mower like that with no cab years ago
ОтветитьNice vid! Finally doing 1st cutting out here
ОтветитьI wish u could send some of that rain in the east to the west. We are dry here in parts of mn
ОтветитьNice looking new seeding
ОтветитьOut of pure, honest curiosity, why Alfalfa? Is there and advantage over other crops for your haylage?
ОтветитьChet larson from larson farms lost his wife just the other day
ОтветитьGreat video , hard at work , enjoy , stay safe !
ОтветитьNice video milke those mowers look nice what model is it we have a John deer r450 and it’s really nice just went through and change all the knifes this spring cuts like a dream
ОтветитьBest hope and wishes for Chuck with a speedy recovery, wrong time of year for medical challenges. Mike: as always, enjoyed the video and content! Regards, Bob
ОтветитьThat'll bag up nice !!!
ОтветитьGreat to be cutting. I'm praying for rain. Everything has been passing me by, or going around me. If this keeps up, I don't know.
ОтветитьNice alfalfa that is thick stuff
ОтветитьIt's good that you are able to have that kind of a relationship with other vloggers. Really good lookin' alfalfa for first year growth! Lot of good food value there. Just curious; what's the motor in the New Holland? Throaty sound. Sounds strong. Take care and God bless you and your family.
ОтветитьWish we had one
ОтветитьYou CUT hay/alfalfa, you MOW grass. Beautiful stand tho!
ОтветитьWhat size header is that mike
Ответитьi wonder how the steering works!?
ОтветитьStupid question, How do you guys water the alfalfa?
Ответить4 half the video I thought he was driving backwards
ОтветитьOught to make some good feed 👍
ОтветитьGreat looking alfalfa, see you in the chopper. Thanks from Georgian Bay.
ОтветитьThe self propelled mowers are great. No running down hay opening the field and no wasted driving!😎 Great drone shots! 👍
Ответитьcows should milk well off of that feed
ОтветитьThat's some good looking alfalfa! Glad it's good and thick since yall are out.
ОтветитьDo you feed more hayage rather then baled hay?
ОтветитьLooks like a good crop! The weather for making dry hay has been rough again this year... Always too much rain or too dry- never in the middle lol
ОтветитьThat is a nice crop of alfalfa. Up here its not that nice. Dryer than heck. Glad you guys look pretty wet there. Take care
ОтветитьWas that mow running at full capacity seep for that crop. You see mowers like mowing hay running a lot faster.
ОтветитьI totally understand about the deer.
Ответить👍👍👍
ОтветитьIs that a sickle bar mower or discbine ? Very nice looking field
ОтветитьThoughts and prayers Chuck for a speedy recovery.
Good looking alfalfa 👍
That’s great looking alfalfa. I love watching windrowers. Cool pieces of machinery. Sorry I have been absent but my notifications got dropped on a bunch of channels. So tonight I’m catching up on your videos. Thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьDefinitely won’t need a merger for that field, lol
ОтветитьLooks like that will be some good silage !? We have had a lot rain here finally in va
ОтветитьHello is that machine good for cutting hay? Nice video
ОтветитьLooked a great crop
Thanks 👍
Thats a beautiful stand of alfalfa, everytime I seed it seems like there's a month of drought🤣
ОтветитьBoy, those really wind row it for you. I’m kind of OCD about chopping it and dropping it in place (mostly) for quicker dry down, then picking up the next day with a one pass rake, chop, and blow into wagon.
It’s great seeing the different ways people do things. Our cattle are beef, and we’re just knocking the top 1/2 off and beating it so it will try to make more sugars by opening up the stomata’s to take in some CO2.
Those windrowers don’t look very complicated though. Nice and simple.
What do you do for acres per day?
