This song has memories for me. XO

This song means a lot to me. In Nov. 1980, I was traveling on a bus in Brisbane, Australia when my eyes caught those of a girl as we both got off. We hit it off immediately and for 10 days straight we were inseparable. She wanted me to stay but I had plans in the UK and returned. Little did I realise that I would never hear from her again and that my letters would go unanswered.
I've been married to a beautiful woman for nearly 40 yrs but I but I still hold a small flame for LEANNE HOLLAND, from Liverpool, Sydney.

Here for FAME growing up watching made me want to be a creative person and I love Irene R.I.P 🙏🏾🕊️❤️

I remember watching Fame at a theater in Toronto in my late teen. I went home to Montreal and telling my childhood best friend Lisa Ward about how sexy Leroy was. Haha, she said "that's my cousin Tony-Ray I always told you about. She the brought out a bunch of family photos taken over the years. Both Tony-Ray and Irene Cara have left us, gone too soon. This song still brings back beautiful memories of a simple life, hanging out with friends just having fun.❤

I have always loved this song…. I remember not going to college like all of my classmates. I struggled to write the lyrics to this song and memorize them. I was so in love and alone because my boyfriend at the urging of his parents broke up with me. He had gotten another girl pregnant but I still loved him. He had a one night stand with her and told me he didn’t love her. At any rate, this song got me through the loneliness.
