I don’t understand how these pictures that are so out of perspective, crooked ugly, or a value to anyone
ОтветитьI cant stress this enough, dont sell your art through someone. never sign a contract and never underestimate your value. You will never gain thru these users . They will do, say anything to dishearten you. Stay true to your work and know your worth. Im sick of hearing people critiques what they do not know.
ОтветитьI hate what it takes to become an artist. I reject it and always will. To you leaches (art galleries) give the work, praise and your lively hood to the one doing the work, the artist. To <you investors, know your artist, get to know them and work with them on a one to one base , cut out the gallery , they could care less about anything but their bottom line. It time artist took back their talent and kick the sub line to the side.
ОтветитьI simply reject one artist over the other , There have been so many great works that have gone unknowable ! So many that its a shame on the art world. ive seen so many diverse art forms , each a very unique form but not accepted as art. being 57 years old, studiedly from the age of 5 I find the art world a very small world. a cruel world. I collect old art from unknown artist and they are brilliant . They are more deserving of the art I fine at these so called prestige art galleries . I dont hold much ado about any art gallery other than to say they create an artist rather than an Artis its self . Art is a person not a profit. hence "starving artist" the galleries are starving the artist for profit.
Ответитьmillions of artist in the world and they focus on what???? im not sure, being an artist im not Sure what the hell they want . should I go crazy, act out, be me, what to do???, bloody hell. I literally know of thousands more Artis better than the one you are bringing here. Unknow : but surpass the art world. I dont want to take away from them but you are not looking to the ones of this day. even the ones of years gone. So many of my paintings are still a mystery but are of such a quality, they , I can not find. Their paintings are amazing and I won't let them go without being recognized . who ever Beta was, he was defiantly an artist.
Ответитьive watched and study this so much that I believe this is him. where it came I believe is a self portrait he abandoned and someone kept. because it was unfinished he rejected it as his. as an artist I see what might have happened here. Not all artist are so arrogant but he was. he rejected it then so he rejects it for life. It is still his work, unwanted as it may be but still his work. As an artist we all have those sitting in the corner doing nothing but collecting dust, I have them in my studio. He was a very "special" artist so to speak, yes I think he did paint something he wasn't pleased with and sat it in a corner. It happens more than you think. I actually have two sitting in my corner. not going anywhere. If I became famous im not sure I would clam them if I were about becoming famous , I think this artist was about just that, Im not a fan of his work, im more a realist, but I can see what was happening . It seems the more crazy you were in that time period the more famous you became. With that in mind there are a lot of artist in that time im not a fan of and to this day do not know why they are famous. I have old painting from many others that are not recognized . I would never sell them for any amount because the composition, saturation, colors are above what ive seen in this so called art world. I collect them and they are special to none but me. The art world is not so small, what you say is nothing. Art is art and you can not put a price on it, but you do to make a profit while the artist is dead. That money will not bring anything to you, who are you to say who was great ; I have many old art work and they surpass what ive seen here but because they are not know they fall in the cracks. your lose, I have many old art works that are so vibrant and alive you have lost out on many great artist.
ОтветитьOn Freud: When a painter says he didn't "do" a painting, it can also mean it's just not quite done.
ОтветитьPaintings look like the seller 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Ответитьshe look like a ferocious instigator
ОтветитьTypical
ОтветитьWhy did not the daughter show her father a picture of the painting?
ОтветитьAll the 'bingo!'s, the 'gosh!'s and 'voila!'s sound terribly rehearsed to me, lol!
People! Like Fiona and Philip and some in this comments section - under the guise of being professionals, just being slave to greed, avarice, fame! Can never get enough of a good thing, and when they can't, spend their time and energies in vicariously pursuing what others have and have had, over the ages!
Ridiculous creatures in themselves but would have the nerve to call their critics trolls, mad, etc. Hahahahaha!
this is a bit disrespectful imo. the man said he didnt paint it and the only reason to pursue this any further is financial gain.
ОтветитьI've always put Lucian Freud in the same British post-expressionist box as Francis Bacon. Apparently they do have something more in common from their formative years, Benton End.
ОтветитьWay to go Neil! Those kids have a hell of a story!
ОтветитьIt truly looks like a dancer, dancing❤😂🎉 Love it!!
ОтветитьSo Why would "Heiman" hand her a fake. That makes No sense!
It is such a "Beautiful" piece of Art
Heiman himself, would not hand her a fake!! That doesn't even make "any sense"! That would be an insult! It would be different if someone else gave it to her Mom. But the artist himself, gave the drawing to her Mom!
ОтветитьY they didnt locate any of the other students he went to school with?
Someone would know.
When You compared the picture to another one of His works, it looks like it could be his.. Although the colors and blending of the paints are totally different.
The comparison's of the third, and especially the 4th drawing, is the same identical character, as in the painting you have.
He denied painting it because it's crap compare to his most refined work
ОтветитьHis name is pronounced DE KOONING as TONE………NOT as in POO. 🤭🤭😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьI can't stand art snobs and so called experts
ОтветитьI'm somewhat of an art snob, I think. As I find myself cringing every time I hear them call a drawing or a painting a "picture"!
ROFL
Now I have the urge to visit Becky's B&B to support her...let me watch the outcome. 🇧🇸
ОтветитьImagine, watching this past the point with the artist himself said it wasn’t his piece😂😂😂
ОтветитьIf that were me, I'd probably donate that painting to the current families of De la Roche since it really belonged to the King and Queen. And who knows, she might be rewarded by the Royala with over a million pounds instead of the 75,000 pounds they hoped to get when auctioned. Of course, i wouldn't sell it to the Royals but give it as a gift and not expecting any rewards. But knowing the Royals, they'll be so elated and would definitely reward Becky.....just my thoughts on the matter.
ОтветитьYour Durigs were lousy renditions of 1930’s Vogue Magazine illustrations. 8 heads high very mechanical poses. Cloths hangers on legs.
ОтветитьLove planks! This workout was a little easy but I enjoyed it! One question: I’ve had both knees replaced… what can I do instead of child’s pose as I can’t put weight on my knees?
ОтветитьNot a dry eye in this household. We wish all the best and God's speed for the owner and her lovely family
ОтветитьI was on the edge of my seat, but so excited that her painting was the original and lost treasure royal treasure that they found! How amazing!
ОтветитьKits shenanigans are precious
ОтветитьI enjoy these very much. I do wish to say some of us creative folk will change our signatures. It depends on my mood and creative thinking in the moment, or if I'm in a hurry, tired, excited, or bored
ОтветитьLet's be serious, it is just a shitty painting and even Freud knew it clearly.
ОтветитьWhat a shameful thing to happen to his son! What , how has he survived? Please do a follow-up , to Inspire us all again!
ОтветитьIt looks like a kid of six years old painted it. To me I would look at it and laugh at it as junk, and walk away.
ОтветитьMe being a lover of art but completely outside the sphere... find quite weird to see described as "a brilliant portraitist" someone whose models cried in disgust when they saw how he portraited them. I don't know about it possibly being true, though. I've read it here and there along the years in mainstream news outlets from the third world, time and again.
ОтветитьHahaha, that is not a Freud. Artists know what they made. That’s an incompetent, naive fake. The provenance is unsound. This is an example of the “I desire it to be a….Freud, a Leonardo, a Giacometti…method of inquiry.
It’s so hilarious to see people taking that vomit with eyes seriously!
Here are a few reasons Freud would not have made it.
1.The Gestalt is all wrong; whoever made it is getting how Freud exaggerates bass ackward; Freud accentuated or exaggerated eyes in his early work and would have made them the same size & correctly spaced; this bad faker made tiny mismatched eyes. There is an earnestness in his early painting: he’s doesn’t make self conscious distortions, he was earnestly trying to get it right!
This flat pizza faced monstrosity.looks like a truck ran over it.
Side by side on a page with other Freuds it stands out as singularly not related.
The supposed serious level of inquiry exposes the investigators’ ignorance about art,
. The distortions at that time still emphasized the eyes, the form and angularity. One would get a sense of a figure in space. This is an asymmetrical flat mess. The brushwork and thickness of the paint is wrong; it is one of the oldest tricks of the forger to paint over an existent painting from the same/ similar era. It’s a landscape; as far as I know Freud wasn’t a lsndscspe painter.
The color is mucky, muddy, indeterminate. Freud was more clear in his use of color. It does not add up.
The worst is the public will buy this crap.
The Watercolor is by A. Rodin.
They did not exceed a preponderance of doubt.
I wish I had been left alone to maybe develope some more usefull ambitions than the stoopid basic young male d*ck measuring things..
ОтветитьDo you see a ghost of a persons head behind dickie's head?
ОтветитьThe "Freud Family Freudian Ego"
EGO, EGO, EGO.
Fact
Painting looks like Prince Charles
ОтветитьYou'd think it would be an easy thing to match that DNA to someone else.
ОтветитьIt's not a Freud. If you partly did it it's still not a Freud.
A bit clickbait. Thr experts said no, right?
I love how the woman speaks. Beautiful elocution.
As i watched the painter on your program . at the end i got a vision of what happened . when froade coming into class and not having a clean canvas so the teacher let him use a picture left by a passed student that painted a landcsape he turned rightside up and painted over it. I got chills when it was comfurmed in me . i got a vision so real . FYI . im from the US .
ОтветитьIt looks like a self portrait to me. I haven’t finished watching yet but the hair on it is so like the photo of the younger Freud and the mean eyes@!
ОтветитьFreud created a myth- why?- because he was able to. His behaviour shows a deep insight in human psyche, he is a gambler and manipulates interest, curiosity and attention still after his death.
ОтветитьI give credit to the fact that, despite the two stars of the show being the most pretentious, obnoxious insufferable snobs to have every appeared on camera, they certainly know whath they are doing, and the producers know how to package each episode for maximum dramatic effect. I watch every one to the end, as the stories are always compelling, but I secretly pray each time that one or both of these stuck up twats gets battered.
