This is truly amazing! I'm glad i made the choice to move from Unity to Unreal for my games and possibly also "just" to create the environment for my books. I can only imagine, for now, how it will all look in the future!

Why can you not clip sections of walls and control how much REFRACTION happens. Or am i inexperience in the tools. Because i see a lot of struggling with lighting. dark corner, dark spots in well lit rooms like under a table. why can you not make objects that have a control mechanism that adjust how much light is able to pass through them. A tree is a perfect example, a dense jungle would be difficult to light properly and take up lots of GB. But if you could maneuver around and clip a small area of tree and adjust the amount of light able to pass through, than you can do more with less. it bothers me when im running around in this brightly lit game and a single tree is casting this unrealistically dark shade. if refraction exist than you could control how dark the shade would be with minimal effort
