Arif's voice goshhhh.
ОтветитьNot going to lie, s70 back seat is comfortable as hell compared to my Almera. But front seat goes to Almera for me. Maybe because of the front center console, the cabin feels a bit tight like vios level. However the cabin finishing in S70 is nicer than B segment
ОтветитьI subscribed this channel after viewing this video. So far, the best review ever. Really honest. Takde try nak berat sebelah and so on. Keep up the good work!!
ОтветитьThe best car I've ever owned. No regrets in getting the FSX!
ОтветитьWhy the proton still looking a bit square square on the edge. Should design something like Xiaomi su7 . Smooth curve edge
ОтветитьStill not engineered by proton itself......only a rebadge......waiting for spare parts in months.......
ОтветитьHonda quality ✅
Proton quality❌
Ariff... Pergh
Ответитьyg slyak pkai nma s70 hnya volvo...bkan protong geli kte cina enjin 3 piston mcm kncil acah conti barua
Ответитьclear and direct review 👍
ОтветитьHandsome
ОтветитьAriff (Autobuzz) should collab with Aiman (Malaysian Motoring).. 2 Malaysian presenter that present like they have own the car 🤝🏻🏎️..
ОтветитьOld car Volvo S70 😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьWhen people buy car in Malaysia, they always stress about handling and acceleration so much it is a nuisance. If the handling is 80% of sports car it should be good enuf. But apparently people dont consider the PURPOSE of the car. S70 is obviously tuned for comfort, not for sports and is a family car a.k.a you should not drive more than national speed limit.
Hence handling should not be the 1st thing you should evaluate. "But handling, acceleration, all the sporty stuff" facepalm.
Cars suspension are either tuned for comfort or for sports and the 2 are mutually exclusive, which means you cannot have both at once. Either you want your family to sit in hard jumpy car with good handling or soft comfort car with most road harshness filtered out.
If you wanna do sporty stuff, go buy a sportscar, not a family car for goodness sake.
Cars are purpose built but people expect all in one, you just cant. PERIOD.
Given I have used the car(S70) for more than 2 months now daily, I could say that my Honda HRV is heavy. I mean the steering feels heavy. Really enjoying the car now. No stiff shoulder anymore. Still waiting for the drag race test.
ОтветитьOwned one, fuel consumption quite okay for me for highway balik kg via LPT, can done 600km full tank, with still 50km-ish left on screen. Only time will tell if it will be better buy than city or vios, but as of now I'm happy with my choice
ОтветитьAwl2 lg dh byk masalah..mmg teruk l
Ответитьs70 really a good deal, totally no competitor, as a 2 generation proton car owner, i can very sure proton is a good selling car but a bad after sale maintenance service quality, so think twice
ОтветитьRear passenger space and boot space aren't a good measure of the car segment. A honda will always give you more space compared to something like a mazda because that's just their thing. The CRV will always offer more space than a CX 5. Even more so with some toyota, the corolla cross is bigger than the HRV even though both are B segmenters
ОтветитьMost people uses Civic as a C-segment benchmark. But actually some other C-segment sedan out there are smaller and less practical and even less powerful than S70. But people never question them either B or C segment
ОтветитьI think if this car came out 10 years ago, it could still market itself as a “C Segment”. Cause “C Segment” nowadays are a big as a “D Segment”. I did make a comparison with my brother’s Civic FE and my dad’s Camry ACV 40 (2010), its almost the same size
ОтветитьYou sir should review military products 😂
ОтветитьOkay mana nak fokus ni? Hehe good car? Or affordable ones
ОтветитьX50 alarm system has better features compare to this S70... felt like a let down. Same can be said on gear selector for upshift and downshift, really a big letdown too compare to X50. Geely really clearing parts developed for these model.
ОтветитьKind of hard to compare with other competitors with regards to the fuel consumption test when it's includes climbing up Fraser's Hill.
But anyway, I guess its 3-cylinder engine is the deal breaker.
Nice review.
ОтветитьI feel, its B+ /C-
ОтветитьS70 price tag without excise duty..still calling it a fair comparison?
ОтветитьTypical C segment saloon? You mean the largest and longest Japanese C segment in Malaysia, the king of space engineering Civic?
ОтветитьTo be honest City and civic space are damn near illegal huge. Not many car can toe to toe with Honda space
ОтветитьNgl, a very good review but as someone that listens more than I watch, the microphone is quite trash with this one. Sure it demonstrates the NVH of the car but can't really listen to whatever he's talking about
Ответитьautobuzz had pulled away from paultan so far in quality
Ответить1 area miss in this review - the ground clearance..
ОтветитьSolid review Arif!
ОтветитьProton had learnt its lesson. In the past, proton would have at any time between 2-3 C segment cars. It would be either Waja (wheelbase 2600mm, same with Corolla altis and Sentra) and Gen2. And then Persona.
Later came the Inspira and then Preve/Suprima.
All those models overlapped each other - taking away sales not from the Japanese and Korean camps but from Proton's own showroom.
10 years ago, Proton streamlines its models lineup; being careful.not to shoot its own legs again.
For A segment, Saga.
For B segment, Iriz and its booted version named Persona (reduced from C segment to B)
While Preve remained as its only C segment sedan.
Civic and corolla is now a C+ segment.
Similarly, city almera and vios is now a B+ segment, moved up from B.
Remember, the wheelbase for vios and city in 2005 was 2500mm. Noted how cars grew in size over the years.
Not sure why my S70 shows 9.4L/100km, seems very high to me, is it because I often drive from Klang to PJ with heavy traffic? Also I can only get 420km for full tank. I wonder is it because my S70 is Premium not Flagship. Can anyone advise ?
ОтветитьYou're late
ОтветитьNice review bang
ОтветитьIf i buy this might wait for a decade just to make it depreciate more
Ответитьwhen i move in to s70, immediately feel like move in to city, which have same seat size and interior room, if compare with civic is 1 level lower. For me s70 is b segment car with c segment performance.
ОтветитьBrought my father to go view the S70 during its launch and he was pretty impressed with the overall look and the interior. But the moment he saw that the turn signal stalk is on the wrong side (he calls it that 🤣) he looked somewhat disappointed while saying "Can you imagine every time when you're making a turn, the wipers come on instead".
ОтветитьSo if it’s between B and C segment, I guess you can call this a CB car?
ОтветитьI like thee S70. It's ay handsome looking car. Thanks for thee comprehensive review Arif!
ОтветитьWhy does everyone cares if its segment B or C? Seriously cannot brain the logic of segmenting. Does it affect you buying the car? Does it make the car go faster or slower? It is what it is. Geely Emgrand doesn't have any problem listing it as anything, so why Malaysian are so obsessed with car segmenting? Its moronic.
VW Golf has less space than S70 yet still put as C segment.
Mazda 3 barely can have big passenger yet still a C segment.
Merc A-class is even smaller than s70 and yet still a C segment.
But s70 suddenly a B segment body in C segment class? Yeah. Moronic.
ok now i hv to go to the saloon right away
