I live in Dubai and have eaten at nearly every restaurant in the Dubai Mall. I personally didn't think New Shanghai was very good. I'll definitely try Huqqa, though. On the prices, most prices in Dubai are inflated. It's not a cheap place to live, but you can find good food that's not expensive. Unfortunately, you chose expensive restaurants. Come back and I'll take you to some 'local' restaurants.
