Einfach ein geiles Teil ❤
ОтветитьIn the general area of 2;35, their guitars sound like and are played in the manner of The Beatles. Whenever I hear cording like that with the guitars tuned in that manner I realize how influential The Beatles were even though these guys were a totally different genre. I think of the Beatles as mostly singers, or as I think of the birds as instrumentalists who happened to have a singer.
ОтветитьThis song takes me back to my early teenage years.
ОтветитьBrian Auger on harpsichord!!
ОтветитьThis has an Indian or Middle Eastern feel to it, it's a classic!
Ответить2023 still playing this song
ОтветитьJust had the weirdest thing happen I thought I was having a stroke, this song came on the radio and the "For your Love" part was missing it was just the background vocals and music, seemed pretty weird.
ОтветитьSatx showing love on the others ideas from skateboarding 😊
ОтветитьBest effing version on YT. Still a bit fast. I don't know why versions are sped up so on modern digital versions. Play it at 45 or 33 1/3 RPM and listen to the difference.
Ответитьis this the beatles?
ОтветитьThis reminds me of that scene in Fear and Loathing
ОтветитьFa Ya La!! LOL.
ОтветитьBro this track goes so F*****g hard 🧨🧨🧨
ОтветитьRest in peace Keith Relf (1976)
ОтветитьAnd then Clapton was like “ight ima bounce”
ОтветитьHe got a hold of my baby slices the orange in half
ОтветитьBrings me back to a time when I fell in love with boys I didn't even know..
Ответитьeric didn't smile then and doesn't smile now
ОтветитьCool, fun song. I'll be singing it tonight at my gig, but it's the song that made Clapton quit the Yardbirds. He wanted to be more of a blues purist. Seems that so many artists who have appeared to make wrong decisions end up better off in the long run.
ОтветитьWe get it. It’s “for your love”. Do they have to repeat it fifty times?
ОтветитьThis song picked me this afternoon so had a listen. Ok. Bye.
ОтветитьI remember as a little kid everyone talking in the neighborhood about this guy called Eric Clapton who suddenly quit the band, and thinking My God, who is that guy?
ОтветитьLegendary British band for sure 😊
ОтветитьEric Clapton had joined them as a Blues Band. Once he was there they switched on him and went for a more Rock orientation. That didn't sit well with him at that time. He may have been more upset with how they duped him rather then the music itself as in a couple more years he was playing Rock oriented Blues himself. He split from The Yardbirds after this song and joined John Mayall Blues Breakers.
ОтветитьI was eleven years when I was introduced to their music. They was awesome then. their music still grooves me.
ОтветитьRip lead Keith relf & guitar god jeff beck this is one of my fav's thanks for the top upload
ОтветитьThat was nice!
ОтветитьBest
ОтветитьThe riffs in this recording sounds much like the opening credits on the tv show “Flipping Out” with Jeff Lewis.
ОтветитьI hate this song. The Yardbirds didn't deserve a following and never got one. For selling out they folded instead.
ОтветитьI wore my first 45 copy out, had to go to Len Waters and get another. The bongos were incredible....
ОтветитьFollaló ooooo
ОтветитьTook my Father & Father - in -Law to see Jeff Beck and Eric Clapton..... 🐐
ОтветитьThe song that made Clapton quit the band. :D
ОтветитьWhen I was a child, I thought this was a long Toyota commercial. Until my brother told me, "they're saying for your love, not Toyota"🤣
ОтветитьI love you Jimmy Page, Im thankful that hes in a better place now. I know you miss Jeff and all your friends that have passed.
ОтветитьJeff Beck, Eric Clapton and Jimmy Page were all in this group at one time or another. They were WAY ahead of their time!!
ОтветитьLoved the yardbird then and appreciate them even more now😎
ОтветитьAwesome 💯
ОтветитьIs that Brian Auger on The Harpsichord ?
ОтветитьRepose en paix, Jeff Beck
ОтветитьR.I.P Jeff Beck & Tony Top...(Thankyou & all the original Yardbirds so much)!!...All the fantastic British RnB tracks you laid down for us all to enjoy forever...The Yardbirds were the coolest band by far & not to be overlooked or under-estimate in any way...This music will live for some millennia ...SX 😎
ОтветитьI can still recall when I first heard this song as a 9 year old. It was in June of 1965 and I was in the passenger side of a Comet manipulating the radio dial as we were driving south on old Ohio route 8. I stopped when I heard this and a memory was set in my neuronal pathways. At that time I didn’t know who was singing nor did I care. It just sounded cool and good. Now, over 58 years later, it still does and will. Memories…
ОтветитьDescanza en paz Jeff
Ответитьジェフベックのご冥福をお祈りします😢
ОтветитьRIP Jeff Beck. One of the best! You will be missed.
Ответить❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
ОтветитьRIP, Jeff Beck
