My guess is the Overlords' legs help keep them upright. Having long legs hang far down like that helps lower the center of gravity without needing too much mass - so they stay as light as possible, but their dangling legs keep the buoyant bodies from "rolling" in the air like a tumbling balloon...

Maybe Maru like infantry armor more than attack because it's better on ghosts that rely on the snipe spell?

I've watched Lowko since the beginning. Also always seen SC as chess on steroids. Love that you've stayed true for decades calling the units "pieces" as if on a chess board. I complained once before when you called them something else like units lol

My guess on the overlord arms and legs is that they are a a remnant of whatever species the overlord was before it got assimilated into the zerg. Might have been a ground-dwelling creature that got mutated into a balloon
