Fun fact: In the books, it was Merry's blade that actually killed the Witch King (more accurately made him mortal), not Eowyn being "no man". Merry had a blessed blade given to him by Tom Bombadil that was capable of rendering an immortal, mortal. It was crafted for the war of Arnor and Angmar for this exact purpose, to kill the Nazgul. If Merry hadn't stabbed the Witch King with that blade, Eowyn would have done nothing to him, and she would have died. This is so very heavily glossed over in the films. The scene in the Barrow Downs where the hobbits are given the blades somehow didn't even make it into the movies. It's a plot-crucial scene too.

The ONE scene the animated version did far better.

broooo ghost army is broken, they LITTERALLY can't die. they have no weaknesses unlike some other "immortal" beings in LOTR, who can die, just rlly hard to kill, plus they can legit climb up walls and it looks like they're flying.

I always thought it was funny how Aragorn and Gimli killed a Chief without even acknowledging it. They just cut, killed, and ran to the next enemy. Like that guy was responsible for so much Minis Tirith knights dying, and it was probably one of their easiest kills

I so sympathize with King Theoden's face when the Nazgul was approaching him. His facial expression just looks so done. He just pushed back a sea or orcs, overcame a hoard of giant elephants, and now I freaking dragon is about so swoop him. Like, give this old man a break lol. His expression is so genuine. It's up there with Boromir's "They have a cave troll" line. It didn't feel like actors delivering their lines. It actually sounded/looked like actual war veterans who's doesn't even get scared anymore but are just so done with all the shits they have to go through.

It is almost comical to see that misogyny was the one weakness of the Witch King of Angmar, for he never even expected that a women would venture onto the battlefield as a warrior, let alone attempt to kill him(he mentions that no "man" can kill him)....

For anyone willing or able to take note, this is how you do women's empowerment. She exploited a loophole in the witch king's creed, murked the motherfucker after having gone toe to toe with one of the most arguably powerful beings in middle earth, then got an assist after having spent her energy and likely broken most of the bones in her arm when the orc leader decided to hobble over trying to kill her.
