I think Sakamoto Days or even Undead Unluck manga are contenders for best running Shonen. I tried Kagurabachi for 22 chapters and it didn't stick with me but maybe when I have the time I'll pick it back up

Yay! It's so nice to hear Kagurabachi discussions from people who actually read the series 🤭 the only part I kinda disagree with is the Hishaku leader not killing Chihiro — imo, killing off the protagonist just cause it'd be cool/shocking and not for any story value is dumb + considering the Hishaku's seemingly all-enveloping scheming in the bg I bet there's another reason he didn't kill him that we don't know yet.
Like, even in the context of the auction, him letting Chihiro go allowed Chihiro to get to Kyora and disrupt the auction, which pushed Kyora to use Magatsumi, which is precisely what the Hishaku wanted to see happen.
