Great review! I personally use the Micro Swift 3 with the 12mm lens and am very happy with it. Low light performance (dusk) is excellent.
I'd enjoy seeing side by side videos of the Swift 3 vs the Ratel, same location, daylight, and then 40 minutes after sunset.

I prefer setting it to uart. Only thing that sux is one less uart for other things like esc telemetry.. can always just switch in special cases in betaflight. But how important is esc telemetry for freestyle fpv anyway lol. My j bardwell 4 in 1 esc only does esc telem on uart4. But I use that for the run cam control.

Good review and decent update on an already fine camera.

I think the colors on this look better than other CCDs and Swifts. Almost like a CMOS. I guess that Vivid setting works:)

I really like the camera, but I have mixed feelings about the idea of not including the joystick...

I love the swift line of cameras... Been flying just over 3 years and it's the only camera I've ever used.

Is the joystick stuff new? I don’t think mine do that lol
