I love how a bunch of stupid white people try to prove something that Pacific Asians can do so easily. Even the movie Moana had the proper design for their boats. This only got following because its a bunch of white men. Ask the Badjaos, or the Sundanese or just about any sea-faring people in the Pacific. Hyerdahl proving that the journey could be made when it was a regular bus trip for most islanders.

I loved this movie! It wasn't perfect. I mean.. when they left with the raft, you could really tell the harbor was CGI and in the beginning it was hard to tell who was talking, when it was filmed from above when the four or five (I don't remember how many were on the raft) were planning their route.
But the trip on sea was mindblowing. The acting was good and the animals they encountered were very realistic and it was really a great adventure movie!

The portugueses were the first to navigate those waters....👌👍
