High schools have been operating more and more like prisons in the last 20 years. Prison has become just a continuation of High School. Same block walls, same paint, always guarded by a Government authority. It’s like we are breeding our children specifically for incarceration.

I’ve worked in Law Enforcement and the DOC and I had to get out.

At the end of the day, they're all human beings like us. Difference is that they're being judged for their horrible decisions. Some of these guys seem really cool and unfortunately they've probably had rough childhoods with no positive male role models. Parents were probably drug addicts or absent. Its easy to judge them but I rather let the law judge them and pray for their salvation.

A 13 year old should be capable to tell right from wrong when it comes to things as serious as taking a life. However, a 13 year old who is given the right intervention could be rehabilitated. I think when the person is so young, everything should be done for rehabilitation, mandatory therapy, education, programs to learn how to become functional members of society, and then a team of people who worked with that inmate and who are formally trained should all separately come to the conclusion that there is no danger from them. If they don't agree, the person stays in prison, if they agree, steps are taken for reintegration into society. Like, a person needs to be assessed to minimise risk, but also, people who can be rehabilitated should be rehabilitated. We can all agree we're completely different people than we were at 13. 13 year olds are children. They are old enough to know basic right from wrong but not old enough to even be responsible for their own lives.

Does anyone know that RL is scheduled to be released on August 23, 2024? This documentary surely has helped him. Hope he gets to contribute by sharing his experience with young guys and helping them stay away from crime.

Honestly the death row inmates seem more chill and harmless than the people who are only there for 2-3 years.

To think that when that dude went into prison at the age of 15, there was still a Soviet Union, British Empire, and Yugoslavia. At the very least, he outlived all of them.

After watching this documentary now I am going to enjoy every moments of my life

I live in my own world. From 2020 to now, I basically don’t go out and live the same life every day. After watching this documentary, I feel like I am in jail every day just like them. It’s time to make changes.

These crimes didn't take a split second! These crimes were committed by Criminals whom were never going to benefit society in any way. They put themselves in these situations and it didn't take a split second. These were choices they made, they thought they would get away with it, and they didn't. Plain and simple!

I'm not minimizing any of their crimes. But I can not even BEGIN to imagine what it would be like to have those doors slam behind you, knowing you will NEVER walk out of there again!

I can’t believe they can have tv’s in their cells, video games, cats! I saw a pool table in one of the rec rooms and that barbershop!!!!It doesn’t even look like it’s in a prison!!! It’s crazy to me!!! I never thought they got privileges like that!!!

I think we are all in our own prison, mentally. Life is tough living in this state of mortal suffering

My question is why do these death row convicts get TVs and luxuries when their victims families have lost everything?

Fredrick Baer did wind up getting his sentence reduced to life without parole.

If this had been Texas most of these guys would be dead already.
