How to Gold Leaf & Dry Brush Chalk Paint

I started painting and staining furniture when a teenager. I turned 75 on Monday and am still working on furniture. You have shown techniques and supplies I’d never tried. I’m in the process of building my creative studio next to my pool so I have lots of room for my art furniture. Thanks so much for teaching this old lady some new tricks. I’m excited to work on pieces for my two granddaughters. 😃😃 Love your channel.💕💕💕💕

I painted a vintage table with that linen white chalck paint but it didn't stay even, you could see the stripes from the brush and it was a soft one, I had to sand and when I applied the matte varnish, you could still see the stripes. How can i fix it?
