I couldn't help but notice how flat the landscape and the water is. The earth is not a spinning ball. It's flat.

This video would have you believe that the current inhabitants of these lands were are the original. They are not the original people. People of Iraqi descent commenting like these were there people. They were not.

I am still listening to this as I fall asleep at night. 💤 But I have watched it full and it is AMAAAZING. It’s not Ancient Aliens. Although that stuff can be fascinating too for the imaginary minds. No one knows the truth, but I’ve learned a lot from this doc.

The first cities...? Perhaps for the ancient world of Rome, Greece, Persia, Egypt, etc. What about the Harappans? What about several locations in Africa? Or South America, or China, Thailand, Cambodia, etc. The Australian aborigines had travelled to Australia 50,000 years ago.Same as the ancestors of the North American First Nations?? Even the Sumerians came from somewhere. I doubt they discovered civilization in Mesopotamia. They obviously brought it with them. And, guess what? The Sumerians were dark skinned like the civilized African nations from whence they came. C'mon...

Billy instead of going to that cost, why not just stay in that room. You could put up a map table, you could put in a billiard table, and if room you could have a big desk area for your self, Gwen etc. Plus with reading chairs positioned around and a few gaming tables and reading tables for research folk. The gaming tables could be poker and puzzle, chess tables. You could remove the wood where library shelves are going and place on walls above and stain to match library cabinets. Most double level libraries do have big rooms for sofas, tables etc. You could do so much more with furnishings and buying books if you rethink tearing through ceilings. I have a library, and while it's a double level layout it's around a 1000 sq feet and it's full now. I wished I had more space for a hidden area for drink fridge, counter and microwave and media area. It seems folks gravitate towards it. Especially with the card game tables etc that I listed above. If it's going to be a boutique hotel or even a home doing it like this seems like a great idea IMHO

Thank you! This was an amazing story told extremely well. I had heard bit and pieces of it over the years but this is the first time I have heard this much of it, tying many things together and showing the struggles and successes of heroic peoples.

Millennia of history detailing the whims of selfish, singular individuals laying waste to entire civilizations leading to mass extinction of cultures through genocide, solely for the purpose of power and wealth- appears to be ignored by humanity as we currently face yet another world war in 2023.
Humanity is truly a disappointing species.
Thank you for the upload. Not a single commercial. I was able to simply enjoy the lecture. Amazing work by the entire team.

Ancient kemit predates the sumerians... The Ishango bone also predates ancient sumeria. This documentary seems to detail that early mathematics came from sumeria. I love the culture of ancient sumer, but I feel like this is propaganda that I am viewing.

I have a suggestion. Try to teach about the ancient civilization of Sumeria without using the old world evolution model. It can be done without using this faulty theory (religion). It would work perfectly fine with using the six day creation model, as well. If you did not try to implement either, you could have done just as well of a presentation and not have offended one who believes in either.

I would like to show these videos to other people in my country, but the problem is that not everyone speaks a foreign language. So could you please add subtitles in one of the Slavic languages spoken in the Balkan regions. Thank you. Best regards.

I'm confused. Ur, and Sumer in general, is less old than the Egyptian civilisation (especially if you consider the history of Egypt pre-unification). Why do people keep saying that later civilisations are the cradle of civilisation?

The Taurus was worshiped in homage to the Age of Taurus(!!!), not simply bc the thunder reminded ppl of stomping hooves of bulls. Their religion was firmly astrological, and their mythology needs to be understood in this context.
