The Silky Gomboy Outback joins my GB Wildlife Hatchet, Mora Companion Heavy Duty and Cold Steel SF Shovel in my medium kit.

The Silky Bigboy Outback joins my GB Small Forest Axe, Mora Companion HD and CS SF Shovel in my large kit.

My ultralight kit has my Silky F-180 Saw, GB Mini Hatchet, Mora Companion HD and CS SF Shovel.

I saw an episode of Survival Russia where he was using a Silky Katana Boy 500 and I couldn't believe how effortlessly and fast he got through wood!

Whilst I believe the 500 is too large for my usage, the Bigboy seems about perfect.

Reducing effort and minimising calorie burn whilst efficiently cutting firewood, what's not to like.

My first outdoor saw was the one fitted to my Victorinox Swiss Champ, and 47 years on, I still carry the Swiss Champ daily, but have grown to appreciate the benefits of a larger saw.

Buyer Beware! I’ve had a terrible experience with ordering from them. All of their axe heads are crooked. They lied and still sent another crooked head. They also wrapped the Hults Bruk Akka box completely with tape and shipped it as is and didn’t bother actually packing it properly. Ruined the Hults Bruk box. Do not buy from them.

Glad to hear someone actually bringing science and the truth to survival and bushcrafting videos. Conserve calories and sweat; not food and water is what I was always taught.

I use the big boy 2000 all the time it is a perfect size saw for me i also have the 500 katanaboy for trail clearing of the bigger stuff.
