Not really getting the immersive spook factor with this game. It's got its beautiful moments sure but.. doesn't hold a candle to the orginal in my opinion

This game looks wild. Only just finding out about it today.

This game was really fun but the story and creatures were really lacking with zero replay ability. Things also unlocked too easily and they removed the damn stasis gun like wth.

Dude you waffle on and spoil the whole game while somehow not telling anything interesting. You gave away all the fun parts (such as finding unexpected scenery and plot) while failing to talk about what new beyond (again) spoiling what new vehicles we'll get to play with. 0/10 will not watch ign again.

This review is on point. It's great, but not quite as amazing as the original. And the land portion is really pretty lame compared to the underwater stuff.

With their latest update it has become crash magnet! Crash after crash after crash.

This game and its predecessor are the only games I've ever played while on headphones listening to something else.

The larger creatures should be dead when you kill them and never come back, the constant roaring is annoying af. This game is nowhere near as big as the last one. You don't need to even go all in on a base, and that's sad because that's the main draw to the game. The seatruck is cool, but really you only need two of the modules out of all of them.

Outer Wilds was the only non-action adventure game of its generation better than the Subnauticas

This game sucks.I keep collecting stuff that lead nowhere.Never gave me a choice to choose my character too.I had to be a black female because "diversity".

Literally the same as the first game... just in a finished state. So if you loved Subnautica but wondered what it would be like to NOT have drops in frame rate, horrible rendering, buggy animations, ext, ext then here you go. Only took 5 years.

They went out of their way to market it as a "standalone expansion" rather than a sequel, in order to temper expectations. Making a Subnautica 2 would be like winning the lottery twice in a row.

Why is this game getting hate for a smaller map? Walking across empty stretches of ocean for like half an hour isn't really a game feature worth preserving, i'll take a smaller but more densely packed open world every time.
