How about having both in your PC?
ОтветитьI used to like csp till ofc it hecame subscription based
ОтветитьHaving both with g'mic plugin and you will end a good combo to a Photoshop alternative.
Ответить... why aren't u using them urself? Why are u taking other people's tutorial vids to make a tutorial vid?
Talk about lazy nonsense...
to save time
gimp=PS
krita=AI
I dont like gimp. sometimes the instruments are gone, sometimes i cant draw. sorry, GIMP.😔
ОтветитьNagraaj 🤔
ОтветитьMaking brushes in Gimp is not easy as it is in Krita. Imo and I created the default brushes in Gimp years ago
ОтветитьThey're made for different things.
ОтветитьNone is better. Krita is for drawing/painting and Gimp is a full featured graphics editor. Both can be used for drawing though, but Krita seem to have advanced brushes to simulate real painting tools of all sorts and as I can see on many artworks people are taking advantage of this making the artworks look original. If someone creates all sorts of digital art it's nice to have few different programs that will serve certain purpose. For pixel art theres another program called GrafX2 which resembles Deluxe Paint on the Amiga. Free software for graphics creators, musicians and writers is pretty amazing now.
ОтветитьVery useful guide to these to, tvm <3
Ответитьthanks for answering my questions
Ответитьthis was the comparison i was looking for thanks
Ответитьthank you
ОтветитьI'm feeling kinda down, everyone saying gimp isn't good for drawing meanwhile I've been using it in the past 10 years drawing 💀
ОтветитьOn the bainting?
ОтветитьActs 2:17-21
New International Version
17 “‘In the last days, God says,
I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
your young men will see visions,
your old men will dream dreams.
18 Even on my servants, both men and women,
I will pour out my Spirit in those days,
and they will prophesy.
19 I will show wonders in the heavens above
and signs on the earth below,
blood and fire and billows of smoke.
20 The sun will be turned to darkness
and the moon to blood
before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord.
21 And everyone who calls
on the name of the Lord will be saved.’[a]
Galatians 5:22-23
New International Version
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
Matthew 25:31-46
New International Version
The Sheep and the Goats
31 “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. 32 All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.
34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
41 “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42 For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43 I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’
44 “They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’
45 “He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’
46 “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”
I would say precisely the opposite - especially GIMP interface is catastrophic. Although I would agree Adobe interface inherited from Mac world is a bit misleading, too.
After abandoning "many windows" interface GIMP is a bit better but still much worse than any reasonable alternative.
For Windows users, Corel is closest to cleanest interface and to what they are used to. That's why I left Inkscape after a years of trying to stick only to it and returned to DRAW! - the work is much faster. The same applies to Photo Paint and Painter. Interface of PaintShop Pro is a bit "popular" but still OK.
Apart of that, what these open source alternatives are usually missing is strictly defined, well designed, clean architecture. Plugins instaled anywhere and hard to find when you are trying to uninstall/reinstall them, features are added not based on user requests but on individual likings of developers, many missing for years. Well, that can be also a problem with commercial software, but to get sales, they must hear what users want a bit more.
I hate the trend towards colorless interfaces. God, I hate it so much.
ОтветитьAs a digital painter, and a long time GIMP user (for other stuff), I'd vote Krita. It just seems a better managed app (GIMP still deserves tons of respect though too)
ОтветитьHi Wayne! Please let me ask, can I upload any kind of Photo and change anything that I want of it? Mean Color, Shape , Mimic etc...??? Thanks forwards
Ответитьthanx a lot! Very good video on spot and easy to perceive. Covers pretty much all questions I had regarding these software.
ОтветитьI'm loving Krita for digital drawing. GIMP seems to get the job done but it's clearly focused on the image editing and manipulation. Drawing isn't the main focus.
Ответитьeven paint is better than gimp
ОтветитьWhat is being show in the thumbnail is actually a fork called gimp-painter
Ответить...and CMYK?
ОтветитьThe key is both.
ОтветитьI liked this EXCEPT THAT often, while she is talking about Gimp the video is showing Krita being used and vice versa. That was not at all helpful.
ОтветитьI use them both + inkscape
ОтветитьKrita for drawing art, Gimp for photo editing.
ОтветитьHi!
Would you care to take a closer look at the Affinity programs, and do some content on that?
Also you got a little mistake in your thumbnail.
Says Krita under both logos, instead of GIMP under the right one ;)
Please answer do these softwares require stylus and and which devices can they be operated. Do I require a drawing tablet for this. Please answer my questions
ОтветитьWhat software specifications are need to run on the device. And does it require GPU?
ОтветитьDo I require a tablet with a digital pen. Or I can do it with mouse? I have a laptop. Or do I need that digital writing pad?
ОтветитьHow to download After Effects on Anroid phone?
Ответитьyour thumbnail says Krita vs Krita
ОтветитьWhy not both? I use every free art program
ОтветитьKrita or Krita? Krita
Ответить
