20230613 - Cave Lake State Park - Cave Creek, Giddyup, High Roller & Twisted Pines - Ely, NV - MTB

I came down to ride the Cave Lake State Park system in Nevada for the first time. The lake had been drained for about 3 years now, but work on the area has really only begun recently. They have construction all over the place and many of the trailheads were closed. It's still a beautiful area, even without the lake being filled. The ride on Cave Creek Trail was okay, but there was a lot of climbing for what you got. The Giddyup Trail was pretty fun and since it was unnamed as far as I could see, my friend Bob named it. High Roller was good fun with a great view and Twisted Pines was a great way to end the ride after all of the long, technical climbing.
