Can you use a brush if you don't have a whisk?
ОтветитьI use room temperature water and a mason jar with a lid to shake my matcha with some honey in the water. I am able to get a very nice crema and it does have a very smooth and milky flavor. I noticed using a larger jar than necessary does produce better crema.
ОтветитьThe first time I accidently made koicha and tasted it the sweetness and creaminess blew me away.
ОтветитьOmg I love all the easy ways you guys demonstrated but the third way is my favorite 🤩 with the jelly jar. lol I was getting overwhelmed with other videos. You guys rock 🥰thank you from a busy mom.
ОтветитьI'm not gonna be measuring the temperature of my boiled water for my matcha.😂
ОтветитьThank you for the information in being able to use a shaker jar in in making this tea
Ответитьher look when you ask for ounce conversion hahahha , thanks for this tut
ОтветитьFrom a bigger to this delicious and healthy tea …THANK YOU !!!
Ответить80 degrees C is NOT warm. It will still burn your tongue or lips. Be careful matcha heads!
ОтветитьThat girl is making me nervous for some reason
Too much matcha?
I get like that when I have too much instant coffee haha it's all good
I didn't know matcha can be real can be cold
I do remember reading after 2W2 lots of outsider
mocked Japanese tea for being lukewarm
The instructions on my high quality Matcha Kei Master's Tribute is: 2 large amounts of bamboo spoons (like 1 big tea spoon), 80ml (2,7 oz) of 70°C (158°F) degrees of hot smooth or filtred water and whisk it for 10-15 sec. in a fast and creamy W or M formed whisk speed to get much froth and a medium thickness. That's Usucha. For Koicha 4 large bamboo spoons and only 40ml (half amount of water), low whisk speed the whisk motion is a circle around the cup (5-10 sec.) and then upwards-downwards (5sec.) and leftwards-rightwards (5sec.) in order to make sure the powder is gone and the liquid is very thick without froth. As you've said, there are many ways. Cheers!
ОтветитьSuch a fantastic introduction, thank you! Additional kudos for the creative and simple ways of doing matcha, I definitely have a jar bar to start with! :D
ОтветитьDefinitely don’t need to sift. I’ve never used a sift. My Matcha always comes out so good
ОтветитьI like my matcha warm to hot with a pinch of salt, a pinch of extra hot cayenne pepper (from a capsule), and coconut cream (a couple of centimeters in the bottom of the cup before frothing). I froth it with half the amount of water and then add the rest of the water afterwards. Usually can't stop at one.
Oh, btw, I always SIFT the matcha powder into the glass, using a fine s/steel sifter, before adding the water. I think it's nicer than unsifted, but maybe that's just me.
cold shaking can create just as much froth. you just have to do it without icecubes, add them only at the end.
ОтветитьWow, glad I looked here...1st time organic matcha...it made me feel naseau, so I said I better look into...wasn't aware if caffeine content. Thankyou!
ОтветитьI love my frothy Matcha! I hear you using the word (phonetic spelling) ''krem er''. Can anyone tell me the proper spelling, please? Thank you!
ОтветитьKoicha is so strong that I d call it Eat rather than drink, and the tea is punching you, literally. But somehow my most favorite for the morning tea 😂
ОтветитьOhhhh. Gonna try a cold brew right now.
ОтветитьWhy my matcha turned orange
ОтветитьVery interesting video. Just discovered motcha tea 🍵 By the way girl is so cute 🥰
ОтветитьHow do you know the water temperature? How do I know when it's 80F
Ответитьmatcha shot - 1.5-2 tsp matcha with 40ml of 70 degree/cold water. Stir gently until no clumps, avoid bubbles
matcha - 1/2-1 tsp matcha with 25-30ml of 70 degree/cold water. Wisk until no clumps and frothy. Add water to taste
whats the comparison to coffee cups? im guessing its generally a little less caffeine than coffee ..?
ОтветитьI think the matcha itself wasn't good quality.
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьCool vid!
ОтветитьI have never tried matcha and can't wait to expand my tea experience as coffee gives me stomach aches and I want to try different teas. Thanks for sharing your experiences with us here in California and I will definitely give you a thumbs up👍👍👍
ОтветитьDrink tea and coffee with respect
ОтветитьAre you going by Celsius or fahrenheit?
ОтветитьThank you for the great information!
ОтветитьHi Dan,
Where can I buy your kettle ?
Thank you for the video. Regarding the temp of water 70 to 80 degrees (Celcius or Farnhite)?
ОтветитьYour wife was making me sea sick because of her constant swaying in the background. I did like all the information you gave on the video.
ОтветитьCan I use Culinary grade matcha for Koicha or Usucha?
ОтветитьI’ve been using a milk frother but not the manual type and it does a fantastic job!
ОтветитьI just spent an hour watching videos on matcha and i actually enjoyed it a lot. Thank you.
ОтветитьThanks for the great content! I live in a hot weather place, could I dissolve matcha in cold water and have the antioxidants benefits?
Ответитьi guess less is more
ОтветитьWhen you say 70 degree, do you mean 70 degree Celsius? Just making sure because world wide everyone use Celsius, while here in the US we tend to mostly use Fahrenheit.
ОтветитьWow that's easy thanks for sharing just want to know the amount you both made each time is that the amount we should have everyday I really want to get it right so please let me know if you can I would really appreciate it ty once again
ОтветитьExcellent video, just discovered Matcha. As has been mentioned, the ceremonial way in which the Japanese do things pays respect to any process. They are to be admired as a people and as practitioners of sweating the details.
ОтветитьI'm 2 minutes in, and she really looks like she has to pee lol
ОтветитьLoL the lady keeps rocking back & forth perhaps she had too much matcha 🍵 🤣
ОтветитьWhen he uses a jigger to measure the water 🤯
ОтветитьCan I just put 1/2 tsp of matcha in a water bottle and shake
ОтветитьHow do you avoid getting a layer of horrible strong matcha syrup at the bottom of your cup?
ОтветитьI met information that matcha should not have a contact with metal because it decreases some enzyme level, so it is even recomend to use this special wood spoon instead of metal one. Also matcha is grinded using stones not metal grinder.
ОтветитьCame for the channel content..stayed for Celine!
With all due respect....wow
