You live in Nashville TN, so do I. I just received mines and I am sooooo scared of the purge. I'm holding off on using mines because I heard that using it after surgery wasn't the best because it shows down the process of the healing of the surgery. I have been using tretinoin for 6 months, and my forehead acne is gone but there is very few on my cheeks and i have quite a lot of post acne marks and scars on my cheek. Does it take that long (or longer) for tretinoin to get rid of scars/marks or is it not working?

I also didnt purge like redness or peeling does that mean it isnt working correclty on my skin?

Hi Rudi. I began to use 1st time day 1 tretinoin. I skipped 2nd day and on the 3rd day, I had uncomfortable issues and irritation in my skin. What's your advice, should I stop first till the skin back to normal and start using it on alternate days? FYI I'm using the 0.05. Appreciate your advice

My dermatologist has told me to use tretinoin 0.025% every alternate night after cleanser and moisturizer on my forehead as that's where i have these acne. On the nights I am not supposed to put tretinoin, she has given me this other medicine to apply. I am just so confused on whether I am supposed to apply it on my entire face or forehead, and she told me to go meet her in 6 weeks but people online are talking about seeing results in MONTHS and YEARS like 😭😭? And everyone's talking about using it like once or twice a week. But I am so grateful for this video, oml many of my other doubts have cleared 💓💓

Not me using tretinoin every night and salicylic acid every morning because my derm said it was fine. Let me tell you I experienced the WORST purge of my life. I wish I watched this first

I have been using tretinoin 0.025% for just over 2 months now (x3/week) and was starting to get very discouraged as I am still breaking out in different areas of my face. Do you think the purge will be ending soon? It is so difficult for me to determine if its due to purging or if my skin is just not reacting well to it. Other than the breakouts, I do not have redness, itching, or peeling and it seems like my skin texture is feeling slightly smoother. What are your thoughts?
