Super Mario Bros. Wonder - Final Boss Bowser Battle and Ending (HQ)

I love the last levels of this game. They all introduce something cool and interesting. Missle Meg Mayhem is quite creative with the new enemy and uses it well. The High Voltage Gauntlet isn't the best, but I don't find it as bad as others do. Evade the Seeker Bullet Bills feels a lot more classic than the new levels, while still being fun. Bowser's Blazing Beats is also pretty fun with a great music section that challenges the player's ability to time their jumps. The final level tests everything the player has learned up until that point and is a great way to look back at all you've done throughout your adventure. The final boss' music is just fire, it's better than all the other 2d final bosses, but still kind of eh like the other bosses. A great finale to the game!

Never thought I would see the day where a Bowser battle has Bowser take the form of having only a head and hands similar to bosses like Andross from Star Fox, I had been imagining that for YEARS though he didn’t look quite like that in appearance obviously.

During Bowser's Blazing Beats, you can actually see Bowser Castle head-banging and singing along in the background.

Bowser: Well Mario! This is it! The final boss battle!
Mario: Oh Yeah! of course we've never had one like this before.
Bowser: What do you mean?
Mario: Well, we've had our final boss battles in your castle but we've never had one with you as a castle.
Bowser: Hey! don't blame me! Blame the makers of this game!

I like how none of these final levels have any lava. The final levels in every other 2D Mario game had lava. It's good that we got new obstacles for this finale.

Dude, Bowser just wanted to put on an epic concert, and Mario had to show up and ruin it. MatPat was right, Mario is the villain: the enemy of metal!

Bowsers design for this fight really brought back memories for me cause he really looks like that stone boss from Mario galaxy 2 😢❤

fun little fact: in the introduction of the final boss if your playing peach bowser will actually have diffrent dialogue happy that his beloved was able to come, if you think about it peach didnt get kidnapped this time and instead went through the entire game and still ended up at bowser meaning he didnt even need to kidnap her this time, she just comes to him lmao!

This game definitely had some surprises. I loved the game overall. Captain Toad, Metal Mario, Shadow Mario, etc. So many neat comebacks in this title that I never saw coming. Absolutely genius of Nintendo to bring it back.

As I have now played this boss fight, I have found out how un-fun it is. The way bowser nods his head and moves his hands to the music is just baffling/ silly (in a bad way). I thought it destructed from the dominance he built earlier in the game, and it felt like it went on way too long, and way too short at the same time. Uninspired and dull

Ok bot gonna lie the seeker bullet bill and knuckle stages give me huge mario land 1 & 2 vibes. The seeker bill battleship section reminds me of the autoscroller vehicle sections in mario land 1 where its like a shooter minigsme and the knuckles remind me of those sections in mario land 1 & 2 with the punching fists especially in warios castle.

I wished there were mid towers and more bosses I think bowser jr in the mid towers and koopalings or original bosses in the big castle's would have been better

Then again that's more of a Kirby thing than Mario lol

It’s a shame that the final boss was similar as fighting against DJ Octavio from the Splatoon series and Super Mario World mixed together. I wanted it something more challenging though like Sonic Frontiers did.😢
