I listen to music on spotify most of the time, but i love collecting cds. Getting my hand on ones ive struggled to find for a long time feels great. Currently trying to get Dead Again, World Coming Down, and Life Is Killing Me by Type O Negative, as well as Carnivore and Retaliation by Carnivore. I need all of Peter Steeles stuff lol

If the varied streaming services succeed in getting all of us to completely abandon physical media, we'll never be allowed to own music/movies/series/etc ever again.

We'll have to subscribe to whatever streamer has what we want, and we'll have to subscribe to all of them if we want to have all available content.

I actually knew an indie musician for a short while, he would give out cds and when people told him they didn't have a cd player he would tell us to buy one...

Here's a thing I did.. Found some old slipknot and disturbed CDs so I decided to transfer them into a cassette tape. Now I listen to them on my tape recorder when I'm outside touching grass with a layer of rubber and fabrics, just to be safe. 😂
