I would add 3/4" feet to space the chairs from the ground elements and prevent wear on the bottom flats that would then soak in more moisture.
rip 4- 3 1/2" x 1 1/2" x 3/4" pieces
put them inwards 3/4" on all bottom corners, so the inside edges of the legs run right down at the midpoints of their 1.5" lengths.
