I was shocked it was actually based on real events i was watching a documentary on cable about Las Vegas and as i am watching i am liked this story sounds familiar then it finally dawned on me it was the real people and events the movie was based on i couldn't believe that sh!t really happened.

The one part that does crack me up is when Pesci and DeNiro are in the car driving the strip and the inaccuracies of the hotel signs that they pass. The order is way off.

It wasn't the grocery store that had an old wiretap in it. It was a payphone at a hotel that one of the mobsters used frequently that had an old tap that they still used. That building is gone now.

Yeeesh. You make all the mistakes. You use the fictional names of the characters in the movie to describe what actually happened to the real life people. Nikki Santoro was banned from the Vegas casinos? Or was it Tony Spilotro? Did Nikki have an affair with Sams wife, or did Tony Spilotro? There is zero new evidence in this video that hasn’t already been explained in 50 videos before.

I met Mr. Rosenthal as he used to own a bar/ restaurant in Boca Raton. You could find him sitting in the corner of the restaurant observing.

Casino is such a good movie. When Robert transforms from Robert to a Character makes it always re-watchable. You never know what makes a movie good till those elements are not there.

On Spliotros death... You're not correct. Their bodies were found on the side of a corn field. The farmer was puzzled to why nothing was growing there...

What makes me wonder is why the mob thought it was a great idea to keep characters that would inevitably be played by Joe Pesci around. I mean, they are great for movies and tv shows but terrible for business.

Back when the IMDB messages boards were up, local Las Vegas residents would share stories of their run ins with the people depicted in the movie. Spilotoro would break the hands of a few big name gamblers who owed debts to the casinos despite being in good standing.

What the movie & book incredibly miss is that Frank Rosenthal, the Jew was a rat!! Him & Geri were telling the FBI EVERYTHING. Why do you think the FBI let him walk??? I still can't believe so many people miss it but man, so many get hypnotized by the big screen.
