Lenin brought down the Russian REPUBLIC. The Russian Empire was already replaced with the Russian Republic after the February Revolution of 1917. In October 1917, Lenin and the Bolshevik wing of the Russian Social Democratic Labour Party, that would eventually become the Communist Party of the Soviet Union brought down the Russian Republic and replaced it with the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic.

The Siberian tribes and peoples were bound to fall under someone at some point due to the sheer geography. As a 21st century American witnessing the fall of Russian influence and projection, better them than China, the nation almost certain to do what the Russians did way back then. Because Manchuria remains partitioned between the Chinese and the Russians, and the Siberians neared revolt a few years ago, matters in the far east and Suberia are bound to come up again in the future.

Slavic, Germanic, Sinitic and Turkic peoples have really powerful histories.
