Omg who put oyster sauce in kaho poon 😆 🤣 😂 😹
ОтветитьThank you for sharing your Kapoon recipe. Where do you buy your pork meats like pork trotters? Can one easily get those pork meats at the Hmong Market Town Place or an Asian Food Supermarket?
ОтветитьI love how she finished with the noodles first before anything.
Ответить“Chopper thingy” lol thanks girl 🖤
ОтветитьThank you soo much for your recipe!! I made it for my siblings just now and they love it!! Hope my parents will also like it. Thank you soo much! Looking forward to more recipes! ❤️❤️
ОтветитьIs the soup spicy?
ОтветитьWhat size pot did you use? Is it a 32 quart pot? It looks like it's filled 2/3rds full. Also, that looks like 4-5 lbs of pork feet you used to make the broth, correct?
ОтветитьYour written recipe shows 3 tbsp each of chicken broth powder and salt...but you mentioned using teaspoons when demonstrating. It looks like you did use 3 tbsp of chicken powder, but maybe 3 tsp of salt? Also, you mentioned seasoning your ground pork with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder...I assume you season it with a tsp of salt to each pound of ground pork, which is the typical ratio for salt to protein? I guess the black pepper and garlic powder would be half that amount then?
ОтветитьLooks delish do you have the chicken version ?
ОтветитьHow much water? I need measurements
ОтветитьThis is the best recipe. This is my go-to now.
Ответить💯💯
ОтветитьMay I ask if you got veneers???
ОтветитьFor those that cannot tolerate spice like the 2 cans of red curry- will 1 can taste as good?? My kids cannot do too much spice but love eating the noodles.
ОтветитьGonna have to try this recipe one day 😌
Ответить❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️!!!!
ОтветитьPerfection! Love seeing how others make their red curry noodles! Your daughter is super adorable!
ОтветитьWhat if I don’t use the pork feet, would I just pour the ground pork into a pot of boiling water?
ОтветитьHow much water did you use?
ОтветитьKapoon by far is the best noodle soup, I’ll eat everything except the quail eggs and the pig feet
ОтветитьThanks for sharing LAO food LAO cusine..
ОтветитьU need bigger pot
ОтветитьSo.... How do you have such perfect
Teeth?? 🦷😁
Sooo yummy. I'm making Kapoon this weekend and needed a refresher.
ОтветитьI’ve made “Ka Poon” before but this looks Supremo!! Looks rich and filling. Could I use belacan (Indonesian shrimp paste)???
ОтветитьI’m planning to make this tomorrow I really wanted to ask what brand of shrimp paste did you use?
ОтветитьHack yeah gonna try cook it for my little brother and little sis lol since they be craving for it thanks!
ОтветитьWait.. you don’t double boil and rinse your pork feet? Just curious it doesn’t give you gritty taste? 🙂
ОтветитьI want some !
ОтветитьJust tried your kapoon today. I’d have to say it’s full of flavor. We didn’t have to add anything extra just the lime. I added a little bit of sugar since I like mine sweeter. Thanks for your recipe. I’m definitely making this again.😍
ОтветитьOyster sauce is new for me. I haven’t had that yet with my kapoon
ОтветитьNo offense, but Khao Poon is a Lao curry soup, not Hmong.
ОтветитьI didn't believe this at first but you don't have to wait for the water to boil before you put the noodles in. If you put the noodles in right away, it'll thoroughly be cooked when the water boils. I usually let it cook for another 2-3 minutes after boiling point.
ОтветитьSo much ingredients, how does it taste like compared to other kapoon recipe?
Ответитьu cut the lines into dimes not quarters lol
ОтветитьI made this!! It is delicious!! The oyster sauce definitely adds a whole new flavor. Thank you so much for sharing your recipe! ❤️❤️
ОтветитьOmg I love using ground pork! I’m glad I’m not the only one who likes it. Lol

ОтветитьLooks good. Thanks for sharing. Now I can make this for my family!
ОтветитьWhat kind of shrimp paste did you use?
ОтветитьSo do you use both the pork feet and the ground pork? Just curious how much meat you use since your list said chicken or choice of meat. But when you made the paste you also added ground pork. Also, which bamboos do you typically use then? Thanks!
ОтветитьHmm. I’ve never had oyster sauce & soy sauce in the khao poon broth.
Ответитьlooks delicious but damn thats a lot of meat
