LG Smart TV: How to Install & Uninstall Apps

My Xfinity defaults to Xumo Play when I click on the remote and talk in to it "Free Family Movies" this is the 1st time its ever done that too. I would like it to default to the Comcast On Demand menu not automatically enter the 3rd party app and especially not this one as its laggy and it auto plays news or whatever and it has bad menus but my remote and menu don't look like this and according to the menue I do get in to "I don't have any apps installed" trying to learn what to do

Can I ask can LG Channels be uninstalled, here in the UK any livestream means buying a tv licence and I have no intention of doing so. Legal as long as I only watch on demand and no livestream of any kind as well as iPlayer and BBC 1. so to prevent the goon trying to convince me I need a licence being able to uninstall this channel may be necessary :) well 3 years no tv licence is the price of the tv and who needs BBC :)

How do you download the Starz app on the LG Smart TV without having to be a victim of having to create an LG account?

Roku lets you search for apps to put on the system - this LG does not allow that, only ones that they have placed in the stack. Is that correct?
