I was on Berlin on vacation during my reading week and I fell in love with it. The people are so kind and helpful , the sights are beautiful , the food and diversity of restaurants id spectacular ( DONER KABABS ARE AWESOME), and it can be pretty inexpensive if you look in the right places. Im going there again later in the year and i cant wait .🎉

can I live in Berlin on $1800 a month? I am retired Military and retired on SS here in USA. I am looking for a family to move in with for 90 days at a time ( I would then have to leave because of Schengen rules) then come back to same place for another 90 days etc. (basically I am looking for a place to sleep and shower) Would rather help some family then motel or Hostel stays) and improve my German !I lived in Berlin a long time ago (1968-1972 U S Air Force at Templehof . I had an apartment in Zehlendorf and later in Dahlem Housing. I love Berlin so much !!
