The pixel looks AWFUL when put next to real competition in everyday pictures. Everyone likes the pictures on the pixels in bright daylight with lots of green. now i know professionals will choose the noise pictures alot more...glad my cheap phone has same kind of quality...sometime its hard to get noise picture rather than less noise

Incredibly disappointing from the pixel, midrange results with flagship price.

So it comes down to what OS you want to use. Samsung's UI, Pure Android, or iPhone OS which is the original technically speaking. I prefer iPhone because it preserves skin tones very well most of the time. And the Telephoto lens looks great for portraits. Also because of the sensor size and aperture, iPhone can sometimes get you more usable telephoto shots than even the Samsung Ultra at times. Everyone prefers video on iPhone while I really don't care for video as I think it still looks bad on iPhone. But I don't think there is a phone that impresses me for video. I think the Sony phones were probably the only ones that looked pretty good for video according to my eye

Do you iphone 15 or 15 pro users face any grayish tones in selfies? I have heard about it and i want to buy the 15 pro max for the nice portraits and selfies. Any help here from any 15 pro max or else of 15 series users? Especially the pro and pro max please HELP

I feel like your Pixel 8 Pro unit might be faulty. My Pixel 8 Pro never has this "magenta" tint. it seems really wierd in your video.

After chosing s23ultra a few times, they really tried to find the iPhone.

Cut the portraits, they look weird. Cut the superzoom, not fair. Meanwhile x4 zoom would be interesting case for Pro Max (to fail).

For me Iphone and S23 Ultra are the winners both with 15 points. Pixel disappoints with 5 points. I can't wait what the S24 Ultra will bring to the table.

I'm a photographer as well. I do more portraits and event photography currently. Sony A7 iv as my main shooter. I also have the 8 pro which is very accurate with white balance and more true to life images. some shots i saw here from the device i couldn't agree with. My experienc has been better.

I am not trying to guess which phone it is, but I choose the most eye pleasing pictures and it turns out to be S23 ultra most of the time.

Without a reference camera image, this is a case of choosing images based on personal preference and NOT whether it did a variety l better job actually capturing and possessing the scene or subject.

I think it would be better to just note which one they like and not to tell them till the end which phone they were.. would be a bit of a hassle to tally the score but since they don’t know which phone it is, there wont be any bias.

I can already tell that they still haven't updated the S23U to at least the September patch, definitely not October patch!

blind test is definitely the way to go when trying to pick a cell phone for their cameras
way too many reviews end up biased even if it's just a small amount
better yet, if you randomly mixed in other phones / DSLR pics and even multiple of the SAME phone in the same comparison, to get people to really focus on what pic looks best rather than inadvertently picking out which one is from their favorite brand
