ОтветитьCrazy Horse monument is a tourist joke. I saw it in1974. Last visit was 2010. No real change except shops to sell merch.
ОтветитьI just love South Dakota.
ОтветитьI was just in SD…already planning my next trip
ОтветитьI was planning on visiting, but with Kristi Noem I don't want to end up in the gravel pit
ОтветитьWe visited there about a year ago and loved it and want to see more beautiful state

Ответить"Hot Springs"/"Custer"....
ОтветитьGreat video, heading there on Sunday from FL. The book of Enoch explains Devil's Tower were really giant trees, it's petrified wood, there were 200 of them, you'd only have to notice it looks exactly like a giant stump and flat on top, and your eyes are not deceiving you, because it is✌️
Ответить❤
ОтветитьHi Kris, thank you for this guide! Are the photos featured in the video your own? Do you mind saying what time period you did your road trip during? Thanks!

ОтветитьVery well done thank you :)
ОтветитьI am planning almost an identical trip for this summer. How many days did you spend in each place. I imagine Badlands NP will be at least 2 days
ОтветитьI from south Dakota but I always wanted to the towns around the black hills. It's not called devils tower the real name is bears lodge because a 200 foot bear attack some Lakota warriors on the butte. It left its claw marks behind as a reminder.
ОтветитьVery good video! Well put together. We just visited all those places last week. Stunning scenery. Elk, coyotes, yellow bellied marmot, bison, mule deer, Rocky Mtn. Goats, and prong horn sheep can were all observed. I will look forward to visiting again to do some hiking.
ОтветитьVery well done with full of histories and information assembled in one document by you, Kris. you must love this kind of stuff. look forward to seeing more videos from your channel just for learning and possibly for visiting as well.
ОтветитьGreat job, Kris! Really well done videos! Keep up the good work.
ОтветитьWe're going again in the height of Sturgis!!! We have a big 4x4 and coming through 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
ОтветитьDogs are not permitted inside the Mt Rushmore gate but you can still get great pictures from the entrance area. I also always suggest going to Keystone. It’s a great tourist town , get an old time photo taken, buy some Black Hills gold jewelry. Ride the train. Bear country is close as well as reptile gardens. The Cosmos is very interesting for the kids. There are even places where you can ride horses . Enjoy this beautiful part of the state!
Ответитьawesome explanation
ОтветитьI've been there twice, amazing
ОтветитьEnjoy it while it last!
ОтветитьTIPS 4 TOURISTS U NEED TO HEAR
-Don’t be jerks and try to touch get close to our animals, we don’t come to suburbia and climb over your fences and try to pet your dogs. STAY IN YOUR VEHICLE ON THE ROADS!
-Did you know that tipping housekeepers is actually really appreciated and traditional?? And do not assume you won’t see the staff, we go to the local restaurants/bars too. Be courteous!
-Be sure you check out your surroundings BEFORE you get there! Many places out here do not have 24 hour services. Fill up your gas tanks!
-While driving through the parks DO NOT STOP in the middle of the road!!! Many locals are trying to get to work or travel through to the interstate. And stay in your vehicle even if you see a animal! You have no idea how absolutely dangerous that is and what a jerk that makes you! Your pictures are not more important than safety!
-Be patient with staff and locals! Staff is very busy and since no one thinks they should work hard anymore we are going as fast as we can! STOP GETTING OUT AND HOLDING UP TRAFFIC!
-If you don’t know basic daily tasks then you need to stay home!
-Locals are generally very helpful and welcoming, but taking pictures of us without permission is really rude. We are not sideshow freaks!
-Remember, being rude to the locals is not a good idea and won’t be tolerated!
We have camped in the Spearfish city campground. It’s very nice.
